I am a Berklee College of Music grad and PRS Guitars Pulse Artist most known for my work as the Frontwoman and songwriter of the heavy metal power trio, Stormstress. I've had the honor to perform with artists such as Cherie Currie (The Runaways), Melissa Etheridge, Liz Borden (Lizzie Borden & The Axes), Joan Osborne, & Delta Rae, and have opened for acts including Bon Jovi, Nita Strauss, and Lita Ford. My work with Stormstress has received New England Music Award Nominations for Artist of the Year, Metal Band of the Year and Album of the Year. For 10 years I was the lead guitarist, backing vocalist, and songwriter for the rock band, Flight of Fire, with which I most notably wrote "My Last Gamble" (HMMA Winner - Best Americana Song) and "She's A Badass" feat. Cherie Currie (HMMA Nominee - Best Rock Song), as well as toured the US & Europe.

I have played guitar for 19 years now and have been lead singing professionally for 5, with the addition of harsh vocals in the past 2 years. To my honor, my voice has been compared to vocalists such as Dio, Ann Wilson (Heart), and Lzzy Hale (Halestorm). I specialize in rock & metal but also have experience in blues, pop, & related genres.

We had Tanya do a guest solo on Guitar for a special Magazine song release for the Finnish metal band Bofo Kwo. The solo was delivered with amazing passion, creativity and precision. Even though we are across the world in different time zones and we had a quite tight deadline, the work was delivered within days. That made sure we could focus on the production and deliver a top notch track. We will be forever thankful for Tanya's effort.

The Winter Project, an all male band in Boston, wrote a duet, “Taste the Color of Your Lipstick” and after seeing Stormstress’s “You Can’t Hurt Me Now” the band agreed Tanya was the Female Lead we were looking for to complete the song. She came to the studio on time and ready to howl. Tanya added great vocal ideas to the melody and was able to flip from key to key on harmonizing with ease. She brought the song to life. It was great working with her and I hope to work with her again.
