Mixing and Recording engineer involved in Grammy awarded and nominated productions. I mix a lot of progressive rock/metal, pop rock, dream pop, alternative pop/rock.

As a recording engineer I managed to get involved in live sessions with artists such as Morrissey, The Drums, Mogwai, Costera, The Guadaloops.
Also in a lot of album recordings of bands such as Zoé, Alpha Lighting System, Sueño A Marte, Capitán Cooper, and a handfull of artist in KIVA Music México.

As a mix engineer I've had the opportunity of working with bands as Alpha Lighting System (live and in studio), some of Sueño A Marte live sessions as well as some tracks of their first album, César Salazar, Nandi, among others.

My approach to the mixing process is a hybrid one. Most of it is done in the box, but I also manage to incorporate analog technology such as analog summing and individual processing.

I want to take your song/production to the next level being careful not to lose the essence of your idea. I want to achieve this by understanding your music and your musical influences/references.

I specialize in singles/albums mixing but also in live sessions (including overdubs, restoration and re-mixing)

Diego is not like any other mixer I've known. Besides his remarkable experience in the mixing field, he understands the concept of music as an art form. Before he starts tweaking his awesome gear or sliding faders, he dedicates the necessary amount of time and effort to the understanding of the musical concept of the artists.
