Mixing and mastering engineer

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: Work with my good friend Mario aka. Menfis La Gentileza. Getting involved in his craft let me learn a lot of things, also try other ones, as an engineer, I could say that helps me a lot to develop my workflow. You can hear his music out on Spotify and YouTube (if you want to support it).

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Additionally, to work as a mix & master engineer, I do make music in a little project called Unnidirectional, a duo of house music DJ/producers.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I tend to give everything I got to achieve the best result in every project.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: The learning process, the constant upgrade in your sound and workflow, try new things, well I definitely love the whole process involved.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: Well, I guess that the mastering wouldn't save a bad mix, a bad master will not make justice for a great mix, and a mix will not always make sound good a poor recording.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: The basic stuff, what do you want? What do you want to achieve? Do you have references? Artists that you had in mind when making your project? etc.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: I would like to say, that if you want great results and get the max from a professional, always you have to be specific from the beginning with what you want, also, be open to some recommendations from the engineer, producer over your project

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Laptop, headphones, a midi controller (I love the Akai MPK mini), My interface, and of course water (I don't what to die), to make music till the battery of the laptop dies.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: As an amateur, who later wanted to make a space in this business, from Youtube tutorials, institutes, studios, and now by myself all in 4 years till today.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Clean, fresh, and break a little bit the rules but trying not to exaggerate.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Skrillex of course, because he can adapt himself in any genre, vibe, and style of music and maintain his particularly signature sound.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Always listen to music for a lot of reasons, to keep your ears updated to the new sounds, to educate them, and also to reference your work.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Reggaeton, Trap, Hip Hop

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I always try to let it know clearly the message from the artist to the final listener.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: First of all the organization is ESSENTIAL, and then decide how to approach to get the best results!

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: Well I have a trustworthy pair of Kali LP6, the great M-Audio M track 2x2, my daw and of course my ears

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I mix and master, and sometimes editing, cleaning and polish audio files.
