Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: The artist "Ohnlé" is dropping a line of singles made through us.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Analog is better, but to the average consumer it makes no difference, plug digital doesn't cost a down payment on a house.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To strive to achieve your upmost satisfaction.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Remote work and Creation whenever!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Which skill do you focus on mainly? All of them.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That you need super expensive equipment, and also that you can get great results on cheap equipment.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Do you have reference tracks?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be able to clearly articulate what you are looking for and need to get the best results.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Mic, laptop/PC, Interface, Power Supply, headphones.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Singer Songwriting, producer, mix and mastering engineer. 3 years.

A: Pop/R&B Fusion.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Out of the long list: Baby Face. Mainly for the knowledge of all we offer from production to songwriting and singing

A: References!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: R&B, Pop, and Hip Hip
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Adaptability. We can fix and tweak and add just the right amount of what's needed to make a hit.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: We bring "Vibe". We have a saying "A song already has lyrics, it tells you what it's saying, you just have to be listening". So with that, we bring the perfect fit no matter the genre or track.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: That would depend on the project. Mixing, The process typically looks like getting things leveled then balanced in frequencies. Mastering, using compress and eq to enhance the mix, then really tackle the stereo imaging. Song-Writing if for someone else, capturing their inflections and tailoring to their style of artistry, then flow into the subject of the song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: UAD Apollo interface, Yamaha HS8 and HS8S sub, Neumann TLM, Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor, Along with Premium UAD plugins.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Our roots are in R&B and Pop. So, everyone in the R&B game who's name rings out. Kehlani, SZA, H.E.R., Trevor Jackson, Summer Walker, Tory Lanez.

A: McCargo Music Ranges from Production, mixing and mastering services, to songwriter and session work as well.
