I make your lyrics come alive! Do you have a poem that needs background music? Spotify, apple Music and iTunes no longer allow for poets to release spoken word, to get around that, I write & produce background music with (or without) sound effects for you.

Hello there!
I am a songwriter/producer, originally from Iceland, but living in Norway since 2012. Music has always been a huge part of my life: I've been in a marching band, been playing in cover bands for years as well as singing in choirs, but it wasn't until 2018 that I started writing and producing. Spent a year in the TSA Platinum program, and have since been producing for myself and others.
Not very long ago, I came into contact with a UK poet, Jacky Garratt, and she asked me to produce background music to some of her poems. This turned out to be the most enjoyable and creative thing I've done in music, to tell the truth!
Now, let me tell you how the magic happens:
Send me a recording of your poem, either freestyle or read to a beat.
I listen/read and the "sonic essence" of the poem comes to me, either as a little melody (which I then add soundscape to) or as a soundscape (which then develops into a melody as well)
I record all this and lay your poem neatly in place.
I think that this form of expression might catch on, within certain groups of people at least, but who knows! :)
