SILENT on SoundBetter

I have been working with multiple industry leading labels such as "Trap Town Records" and "Lowly.". In addition I have 5 years of experience in producing and working in the music industry. My speciality is to create unique sounding Trap beats/ EDM songs that are heavily based around synths or live instruments.

Hello there!
I'm SILENT and I have been producing music since a very young age. My primary service is making music that is fitted to rap or EDM oriented vocals. Furthermore I often produce beats for my clients that are more Hip Hop oriented, however I also specialise in Eletronic and more melodic types of music. My number one priority is customer satisfaction. Every client that I have had has recieved what they were looking for and revisions are almost never necessary. Because of the fact that I am closely working together with industry leading labels, I know exactly what current preferences in the music industry are. This means that I'm able to provide music that increases your probabillity of getting added to big Spotify playlists. My music has been added to multiple Spotify playlist networks that total at 990,000 followers (status: July 2022).

Totally not biased in any way or anything but oh my goodness is this sound on a different level. You can tell hours, maybe days were poured into each and everything he touches.

Interview with SILENT

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: My latest release "Hard Zemon" with Jxma Destine. This track is available on every streaming platform and I was the leading producer behind the track.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: At the moment I'm working on my Artist image, mainly producing for my own cause and uploading my works on Spotify, Apple Music, etc.

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: I produce on my computer, so digital. There are endless possibillites, an almost infinite amount of instruments to choose from and the abillity to design synths.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: That they will recieve exactly what they're looking for. High qualtiy mixing and mastering, Unique sound design and self recorded samples. A track that emphasizes on their vocal capabillites

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: The creativity and freedom that comes with it. I see it as a blessing that I'm able to create something new and unique that people like listening to.

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: How long it takes for me to produce a track. It's usually one to two weeks.

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: A lot of people don't understand how producing music works, many assume it's a easy as pushing a few buttons. It isn't.

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: How would you describe yourself as a vocalist? Do you want the track to be more focused on melody or more focused on sound design? Will you rap, sing or a combination of both? Do you want a drop where there are few vocals, or a classic refrain? Do you have song references to what you want me to produce?

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Always have patience. Producing a track takes a lot of hard work and time. For me it usually takes one to two weeks to finish a big project but also never undermine your expectations. An experienced producer will listen closely to what you want and make that happen.

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: My computer, a keyboard, a drumpad, a piano and my speakers.

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I have been in the business for 5 years now. I started out pretty young and have discovered my passion for producing by wondering how all of the music I loved has been made. Over the time I've managed to build up quite a big network, working closely together with labels like TrapTownRecords, having my own Spotify Artists profile and being represented on every big streaming platform.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: I'd describe it as bass heavy, urban, dark, Powerful, Bouncy, Festival

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Anfa Rose because I feel like his vocals would fit perfectly to the kind of tracks that I make. Also he has been a big inspiration for me to become more active in the rap scene.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: It's important to take a step back every once in a while and look at the bigger picture of a track. This way you can see if everything fits into place like it should.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: I love working on Trap/Rap and EDM mixed with vocals. To get a clearer picture imagine something like Party Favor mixed with Juelz.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: I'm great at adapting, If my client wants something changed, it's easy for me to make those changes while making sure everything still sounds great in the mix.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: Powerful and punchy drums (in the style of Trap / EDM), Bass, Eerie vibes (if desired), Unique sounds, Selfmade melodies, selfdesigned synths, Lots of range for vocals (both singing and rap)

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I tend to hyperfocus on my work, meaning if I start something, I just work on the track until it's done, without a lot of breaks.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: In order to create high quality tracks I use both my JBL studio speakers as well as my WH1000xm5 headphones to provide the best possible mix. In addition I own a Rode NT1A studio microphone to record my own samples. To make the tracks I use Ableton Live Suite, a leading music production software.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: Party Favor, Fabian Mazur, Snavs, Anfa Rose

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
