Interview with Chipsound Production

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Several personal projects and collaborations with an independent group of highly talented artists, as well as the creation of numerous re-orchestrations of famous musical pieces

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Manager at a cultural center, and sound engineer and music producer at my own studio.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: If you need a specific recommendation to improve your track before the mix phase, just ask—I'm happy to help you find the right talent on the platform.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Recording - hybrid Editing - digital Mixing - hybrid Mastering - analog with the best DA converters

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: A smooth, stress-free process with clear communication and 3 rounds of free revisions to ensure your complete satisfaction. And don't forget, every piece of music has its own magic!

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: love helping independent artists compete on a global scale. Combining my musical education with advanced engineering allows me to unlock the full potential of a track. Hearing a song go from muddy and flat to wide, punchy, and radio-ready brings me genuine joy. For me, it's not just about pushing faders; it's about giving your artistic vision the expensive, professional sound it deserves.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Q: How many revisions are included, and what files will I receive? A: I include 3 rounds of revisions for free to ensure you are 100% happy with the result. Once finalized, you will receive the industry-standard, high-resolution 24-bit WAV file and a 320kbps MP3. Both files are fully optimized and ready for commercial distribution on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: The biggest misconception today is that automated AI mastering tools or digital plugin presets can achieve the same results as a professional engineer. They can't. A software preset cannot understand the emotional climax of your chorus, the groove of your bass, or the subtle nuances of your vocals. True commercial polish comes from custom hybrid routing, analog hardware headroom, and decisions made by a trained musician.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What is the primary focus of the song? (e.g., massive low-end, upfront pristine vocals, or wide organic instrumentals? Do you need any advanced audio editing, such as vocal tuning or timing alignment, before the mixing phase?Having these answers allows me to maximize the impact of my premium analog gear on your music.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Don't just look for a technical operator—look for a collaborative partner. When hiring an engineer, make sure they understand your artistic vision. To get the best results, always provide clean, unclipped audio stems and share a couple of reference tracks that match your target commercial sound. A great mix starts with communication and a clear creative direction.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Genelecs, metric halo uln 8 mkIV and in the large bag all my Neumanns hahaha

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I have been working as a professional audio engineer and producer for 25 years.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Very versatile and musical

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Bruno Mars a most complete artist of his generation.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  32. A: Accoustic, EDM, Pop, Symphonic, Rock, Indie, Worship and Gospel.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: My strongest skill is finding the perfect balance between musical emotion and technical precision. Thanks to my University of Music background and SAE training, I can hear a song both as a musician and as an engineer. This allows me to enhance the emotional core, energy, and groove of your track while using my premium hardware to deliver a clean, wide, and commercially competitive mix that translates perfectly on any sound system.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: bring sonic clarity, emotional depth, and competitive translation. Thanks to my University of Music and SAE background, I ensure your song makes sense both musically and technically. I use my high-end studio setup to add analog warmth, clean up muddy frequencies, and create a wide, punchy soundstage. My ultimate goal is to make sure your track sounds massive, expensive, and translates perfectly on everything from club sound systems to smartphone earbuds.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: 1. Discovery & Files: We start with a brief chat about your vision, reference tracks, and goals. Then, you send over your organized stems or mix files. 2. Preparation & Review: I inspect your files in my treated studio to ensure there are no technical glitches or clipping before I begin. 3. The Sonic Magic: I run your tracks through my premium hybrid setup, applying analog warmth, precise EQ, dynamic control, and vocal polishing. 4. First Draft & Feedback: I send you the high-quality first draft. We review it together, and you provide feedback for any adjustments.5. Final Delivery: Once you are 100% satisfied, I deliver the final, industry-standard WAV, AIFF and MP3 files, fully optimized for all streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).
