Great collab with Will, he was very communicative and willing to collaborate rather than impose his vision of the project, which was greatly appreciated :)

Will is for sure the best songwriter I have worked with!
He knows how to create lyrics and approach the melody in the best creative way. He takes his work very professionally and establishes a connection that makes the song not just any song, but a truly artistic work.
He communicates effectively and clearly in each step of the process and he is open and flexible with all the ideas.
He created something I am obsessed with and I will definitely recommend him!
Interview with Will Killen
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do my absolute best to bring YOUR vision alive.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Get it right from the beginning. A good song is easy to produce, a good production is easy to mix, and a good mix is easy to master.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Lyrics
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: The honesty. My main goal is to tell the story in the best way possible.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I run Evoke Studios in Leeds, but mostly reside in London for in-person collaborations. We have an extensive gear-list at the studio--too long to list. My portable setup includes an Apollo Twin and Vintage AKG 414.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: FINNEAS, Ben Howard, Daughter, Hollow Coves
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: It depends at what stage I'm brought into the project, but my ethos is to get the core elements of the song right. Structure/lyrics/melodies. From there we work on production choices to create the songs identity. Mixing is the simplest step, and one I do most often.
