A: My 2nd project called City Kid . I released a project called Vibe Sessions which is out on all Streaming Platforms .
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Music Production and Song Writing , Mixing and Mastering
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes Michael Manitshana , he is an audio engineer who works with Nasty C and other artists , his work is amazing
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital . It just makes everything more accessible , even this interview , would be a lot harder if technology was not what it is .
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will always deliver quality sound , no matter what , the cost is not the biggest issue , I work for music not for money
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The look on people's faces , their general reaction to my music , it's never expected .
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How long do I take to make a beat / song ? As long as the record needs , it will tell you when it's done .
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it is easy and they are too many people doing it and anyone can do it .
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What their vision for themselves is ? Why they make music ?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Definitely take yourself seriously because I do , and be your own number one fan

A: My laptop , Notepad , Headphones , Speakers( monitors ) and a hard drive .
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started producing in 2014 on my phone , on an app called Music Maker Jam and as for writing , I started as a creative writer when I was still in Primary school , around 4th or 5th grade , I actually wanted to be an author , and i have an Instagram page , with some short stories I used to make up and just post for people to read . Only took rapping seriously in 2019 , and started actually producing in 2019 as well .
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Modern take on Classic , that's how I'd sum it up
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Nasty C . I have watched him and been a fan for a while , since 2015 . My style is so similar to his , from a rapping standpoint and I'd love the opportunity to feed off what he's learned over the years , from being local to taking it to the global stage .
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Your strongest skill as a producer , is feeling . The tips and tricks and shortcuts are all very cool and great to use and know , but nothing can beat you feeling your own music
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: RNB , Rap , Hip Hop , Classic , Trapsoul
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I would say , being genre-less , not sticking to one thing , I believe music is fluid , rhythmic and all sounds and genres give and borrow from each other . I love integrating , mixing , combining , creatively redefining the listener's musical experience .
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Harmony , I bring unity and tranquility to whatever I am working on , if I am there to rap , I will bring so much nuance to the subject matter with my storytelling , which is not too shabby , if I am producing the song , then I make sure it's just right . It's like controlled chaos , bringing so many elements but getting them to sound so perfect and harmonious , which is something I just have an ear for , it's gotten better with practice but it's more natural , I could never give you a formula for it .
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Most of my beats / instrumentals , I produce for myself , and so it all starts with a song idea , and lyrics , melodies and me just freestyling , but the more the beat stays with me the more likely I am to write a complete song for it .But when I produce , I mainly focus on sound and feeling more than anything . Sometimes I work on 3 or 4 beats at a time .
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a set of Micro Lab Monitors which I use for production , 3 sets of headphones ( 2 from Polaroid , 1 from JBL ) - these are my 2 most trusted brands when it comes to delivering quality sound which is absolutely necessary in music production , a sound card and microphone , which I don't use that much because I don't do vocal production , I go to a different studio for that . 3 laptops
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Nipsey Hussle , J Cole , Kanye West , Young Thug , Hit boy , Metro Boomin , Nasty C , Hitmaka , Jay Z
