Mix Engineer!

A great recording makes for an even greater mix. Hey hello! My name is Ney/Neyzone6. I’m a woman mix engineer who specializes in Hiphop and R&B. I have 3 years of experience, and within that time I’ve learned how to mix in and out the box. Rather I work on an SSL Analog board, or simply on my laptop I can get things done. Pro Tools is my go-to DAW.

Music is what has helped me keep sanity throughout my journey in life. No matter what music was always there. It keeps me close to my loved ones who are no longer here physically. What’s great is that I now have the pleasure of actually working hands on with my first love. And I’ve been able to help many others along the way. To me, the best part is finding great people like minded people to work with and create together. Mixing brings me peace. To everyone else it’s tedious, but I love to have something I love doing that keeps me focus and stops my mind from wondering. Especially when i get to hear certain parts of a song solo’ed. Even tho Kanye has came up with a way to make it so everyone can enjoy it, which is a great idea, I’m glad to be one of the first to experience it before a song is released.
