I’m a producer and beatmaker, focused 100% on top-40 pop and soft pop tracks. I spend my time between Milan, London and Boston. My work is inspired by pop production gurus such as Ian Kirkpatrick and Max Martin: clean, powerful and with an extreme attention to those details needed to keep listeners' attention throughout the song.
I’ve been doing music for 25 years now, producing since 10. I’m classically trained and I can play guitar and bass.
I own a private project studio in Milan equipped with top quality gear, available for vocal tracking sessions. In other locations I work with a mobile rig or booking local studios. For remote gigs I use videoconferencing tools and I like to run remote production sessions to co-create with the artists I work with - by now it works very smoothly.
I always spend time with each new artist early in the process, to make sure I fully understand the vision and sound they’re looking for. Once I start producing I provide frequent drafts to get early feedback and make sure we proceed in the right direction. I often get close to artists during this process and many become recurrent collaborations.
I have several pop and soft pop beats available as song starters. These beats are not for sale: they are only available to artists as part of the production deal. I also have a small circle of exceptional songwriters (in London, LA and NY - so English only), who can help with melodies and lyrics when needed.
Please note: I focus 100% on projects aimed at producing commercial-quality tracks for music release.

Endorse delmanDelman is the MAN!! He is so good at bringing your project to life. He has the elite ability to bring an idea from your iphone's voice memos, to a full blown HIT!! He takes any feedback you may have super well and runs with it while also having great songwriting and production ideas always flowing!
An absolute genius with a perfect vision as to how a song should sound. The direction taken right away was incredible and the clarity was insane. As a singer/songwriter all I had to do was focus on the vocals and the writing, everything else just fell into place because this guy knows exactly what he is doing and does it extremely well!! Highly recommended and super excited to work on another project.
Been working with Delman on Anate project for over 4 years now and it has been and still is an absolute pleasure. Super professional (and fun!), collaborative, open, constantly improving, with a hunger for learning. I'm confident he can produce in any style if he puts his mind to it. A total machine! :D
100% Maestro. Brilliant to work with, extremely focussed on detail and wonderfully creative. Very highly recommended.
I've had the pleasure and the honour to work with Delman on three singles and each time we had a different, dedicated approach to the song. Delman is an authentic music genius, producer with an amazing engineering mind, plenty of skills and a highly creative spirit who will listen to the artist and will find the perfect take on spot! Incredibly professional and can deliver a finished top quality master within a short time.
Recommended!Extraordinary, in every playing field!
Where he gets this depth and purity of sound, no one knows... But when you try Delman you get hooked to the sound! He is also very friendly and constructive, with lots of good advice and feedback, so the process is as pleasant as the result
Delman is an amazing producer, and very easy to work with. We recorded several tracks together and he has been consistently doing an amazing work on each of the songs, also across different genres. I definitely recommend him - and look forward to work together soon again!
delman is able to empathize with the musicians by providing explanations and useful advice. Thanks to his work, I got a professional and original sound for the many alternatives he offers. I appreciated his punctuality and willingness to listen to my needs.
He is a Phenomenal!!! He is a musical genius and knows exactly what he is doing. Working with Andrea is great because he very expansive, and creative, and will take your vision to a whole other level. He is always willing to hear out the artist as well, and he is incredibly talented. Working with Andrea is a 10/10 experience, and you will not be disappointed.
Interview with delman
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I have an hybrid system, combining both worlds. I like using good analog gear when tracking (preamps, compressors), but for pop productions I am pretty much totally "in the box".
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: MacBook Pro, Apollo Twin, a Sphere L22, Amphions and a good set of studio headphones. There's nothing else you need to do the next big hit, if the right talent is in the room.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: We are living a great moment in history where we have top producers streaming their sessions for everybody to learn from - and there's so much to learn. At the same time Internet is also full of wrong information. My suggestion for new producers is to make sure they spend time on quality content from well known producers only.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I believe the job of a producer is to make the vision of an artist come to life. As a consequence I usually follow the process the artist prefers, especially when I'm working with more experienced ones. When working with very young artists I make take more initiative, but it is always a "suggesting" rather than imposing a process.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: It is a personal project studio, equipped with top quality gear. I invested mostly in my listening environment, in the vocal tracking chain and in good samples and plugins. I also have a lot of outboard processing units, which I use when I'm looking for a specific vibe that is hard to recreate in the box.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Ian Kirkpatrick is often source of inspiration to me. I found myself listening to New Music Friday on Spotify and spotting his productions before checking the credits. His productions are really sophisticated AND musical at the same time, and his attention to details is incredible.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Music production is pretty much 100% of my gigs, as a deliberate choice. I decided a few years ago already to focus on production only, working with other professionals for mixing, mastering and sound design.
