Asked for a R&B sound for my song and Gotti delivered it with finesse. Easy to work with and fast delivery.
Its truly a AMAZING EXPERIENCE watching Gotti work. I’ve worked with multiple engineers and producers through out my career and I must say Gotti is by far the most professional, talented and has ground breaking creativity. He’s what I would consider a magician A producers producer a engineers engineer. He’s an absolute professional.
Career saver!!!! I paid another engineer $1000.00 to record and mix a song I end up having to send it to Gotti he fixed it in less than an hour and it sounded beyond amazing. I will never go to any one else for music needs GOTTI is the best at what he does
Interview with GottiRockSolid
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: T-Pain is one of the highest on my list of artist to work with. His creativity and incredible song writing skills have definitely inspired me to become a better producer and song writer.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't get too caught up with how you THINK a production will come out, rather focus on each part of the song you are working on. Staying focused in each moment of a track gets better results. Focusing on the final product may have you second guessing the current part you are woking on, and that kills your creativity.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mainly Rap/R&b/Pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Adaptability. This skill has allowed me the opportunity to solve various issues and adapt to many different types of artist and work situations. Things don't always go as planned, but we have to find a way to still get the thing we set out to do done.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I wear multiple hats, so I would say that when I'm engineering, my talent and ear for production allows me to offer more ideas, not only technical but sonically. Understanding the part that each role plays has allowed me to come out with the best final product.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First is consultation. Not only does it establish our working relationship, it also lets us connect and build a chemistry. This sets us up to have the communication to handle just about any project one may have. I like to be on the same page with my clients, before diving into the work.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm currently building a house that will have my main studio built into it, but I have a mobile setup. On most days I'm working out of some of the nicest studios in and around Atlanta Georgia.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I would say Pharrell. His approach to not only music, but life as well, are very inspiring.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly work with clients I'm producing. But, I also, have a good number of clients that I mix/master for around the world.
