Dark atmospheric soundtracks

Paul Buddle/thearmslegensemble on SoundBetter

Immersive soundscapes that generate tension and atmosphere for your films/games/media projects.

Sound artist/Composer/Multi-instrumentalist/Producer

I specialize in creating experimental, often dark music that is highly atmospheric, and great for creating tension and a sense of other-worldliness in video/films/games

I have existing compositions that can be licensed for use, or can compose anything from individual sections of music to an entire soundtrack.

I have over 17 years of experience in live sound performance, 14 years of music production, and 7 years as a live sound engineer and AV technician. I also have some experience with film making and video editing.

I have a background in guitar, percussion and electronic music. Over the last few years, I have developed several electro-acoustic instruments that allow me to create a uniquely stylized and individual sound, taking influence from Minimalist and Avant Garde composers, as well as post-rock, ambient, drone, electronic, heavy metal and jazz.

I have a strong background in the arts as well as performative and recording-based sound works, which gives me a dynamic and unique approach to creating sound pieces.

I have excellent skills in sound editing, and basic computer programming making me adept to work in game sound design, as well as film and video.

I am easy going, with a friendly professional attitude, and I look forward to working on any exciting projects.
