Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: There are many jobs that I am proud of, mainly to have produced a beat for Real Talk Contest, a contest of the biggest hip hop brand in Italy.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: On several singles and albums production. I'm also working to improve my skills.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Digital, it's smarter and faster.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: Nothing more and nothing less than what they ask for.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: The possibility to espress my creativity.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: Usually, on music ideas and music background. Then what type of sound he/she would like to have.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Be opened, sometimes the better ideas come from different points of view.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: 1. An infinite electricity generator (ahah) 2. My iMac or MacBook 3. Audio Interface 4. My Keyboard 5. My headphones

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I started to study music at 10 yo, I have studied piano for a lot in my school. Then, I discovered music production and I studied 1 year in a music school production. Then I alternated hard work with many clients from Italy and from the world with masterclass or 1-2 months courses with famous producers or mix engineers.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Mainly bouncy, sometimes aggressive but not too much, puncy and with many rhythms.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would like to work with artists with a great art-sense and creativity. The reason is that the main reason for which I create music is to share my creativity and I would like to match my creativity with other else.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: If you don't have a creative idea, take down 4 chords with 1 melody and after that bounce what you create and pitch down / stretch it many times. (Ex. pitch down 2 semitones, than re-bounce and pitch down 3 semitones. Bounce again and stretch 2x the samples the cut only some parts of the sample and take all together). This can create strange and unique sounds.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Mainly trap and drill. I have worked also on lo-fi beats and obviously hip hop and rap beats. I have worked also on edm projects in my career and on many indie productions.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Feeling drum + bass and my armonies.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Mainly my italian tradition sound and my ideas influenced by the place in which I growth, Rome and L'Aquila (Mid-Italy).

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: 1. I receive a message from my customer, 2. I ask for a reference, the vocals (in case), and other info to clear my ideas, 3. I start to work, 4. I send the demo, after that the customer can ask about revision, 5. After the revision I send the final version.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: For many years I had an expansive studio setup with gears (compressors, pre-amp...), now I decided to be minimalist and I use only: my computer, audio interface, my monitors and keyboards and guitars. Obviously I work with many plugins as: Omnisphere for beatmaking and Universal Audio for mixing.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Mainly Travis Scott, but also Italian rappers and producers as tha Supreme, Sfera Ebbasta and Charlie Charles. Pop Smoke is also a great reference for my drill beats. In addiction, I love French songwriters as George Brassens and Italian songwriters as Fabrizio De Andrè. I also love rock, mainly Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Usually my most common type of work is a trap or drill beat that I make from 0 for my customers.
