Swivel

Producer/Audio Engineer/Writer

Swivel on SoundBetter

Heyo! My name is Shelbey AKA Swivel. I Specialize in (but am not limited to) Hip Hop/Rap old school or new, with industrial flavours and elements of EDM. I create music for various artists, mix and master records, produce, write songs and more. I have +8 years of experience with music composition and I offer value to everybody I work with.

How it works:

*1) Reach out to me on instagram @ freeqsoundent

2) Message me to get your project started - I enjoy discussing the project before hand (preferably hearing a rough demo or reference track) as it helps me get a better understanding of what your needs are.

3) Once the project is funded, it's over to me. I do everything I feel the record needs to correctly convey your original vibe, emotion and intention behind the song. I'm here to make your idea come to life and create the best sounding version of your song.

4) I'll create a rough draft to send back to you - then based on your feedback I'll get to work on finishing up the production.

5) Once the track is at a place where you feel that the job is done, I'll ask you to mark the job as complete and provide you with a high res wav master and all stems for further mixing or alternative versions. (If you wish to purchase licensing for a beat there are plenty of flexible options.)

Thanks for checking out my profile! If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message - I will get back to you ASAP. :)

Tell me about your project and how I can help, through the 'Contact' button above.

Interview with Swivel

  1. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  2. A: I would have to say the communication between myself and the customer. In my opinion this is one of the most important skills because it goes hand-in-hand with every aspect of the music game. We must really understand each other in order to get the best product we can.

  3. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  4. A: External pespective, over 8 years of experience and a whole lot of flavour.

  5. Q: What's your typical work process?

  6. A: 1) The client sends me some reference tracks of what style they would like their production / mix to be. 2) I send back rough ideas, request feedback, and return to the project to apply the feedback. 3) Repeat step 2 until the record is flawless.
