Los Angeles based trumpet player Andrew Rodman enjoys a varied career as performer and educator. He performs in a wide variety of styles from classical to jazz to pop and many more. Andrew has performed for film, TV, radio and to live audiences in the US and internationally. Andrew completed graduate studies at the Thornton School of Music at USC where he earned his Masters degree and Graduate Certificate as a student of Boyde Hood and Tom Hooten. Andrew performs in many different musical settings: classical, jazz, musical theater, cumbia, salsa, commercial/pop, and more. Some recent career highlights have been performing the National Anthem for Los Angeles Angels Baseball and UCLA Football at the Rose Bowl on national TV. A dedicated educator, Andrew's private teaching studio includes pupils of all ages and skill levels. He has served on the faculty of private and public elementary, middle, high schools, and colleges. He served as an after school music teacher for underprivileged students in inner city LA with YOLA/Harmony Project and the Young Musicians Foundation. Currently, he serves as an adjunct professor at California Arts University.
