DUBS on SoundBetter

Stop Guessing. Start Releasing.

You’ve spent hours perfecting your synth patches and arranging your drop. Don't let an untreated room ruin your final sound.

I specialize in Electronic Music (Techno,Trance,DnB,House,etc.). I know that for our genre, the low-end is everything. If the kick and bass aren't sitting right, the track doesn't work.

I work in a professionally treated studio environment, which means I can hear the frequencies your bedroom monitors might be hiding. I don't just make your track "loud"—I make it translate perfectly from the club system to Spotify.

Why work with me?
AI mastering tools can make it loud, but it never stood on a dancefloor or understand what it means to be on a rave.
I do.

STEREO MASTERING: $40 / track
Professional processing.
Includes 2 revisions.
STEM MASTERING: $85 / track
Recommended for Electronic Music.
Send up to 8 stems (Kick, Bass, Drums, Synths, FX, Vocals). I balance the mix and fix low-end clashes before mastering.
FULL MIXING + MASTERING: Starting at $180
Complete production mixing from raw audio files.

I’ve worked with Dubs on more than 10 tracks for mastering, and the experience has been excellent every single time.
The masters always sounded powerful and clean. On top of that, he gave valuable feedback and practical tips on how to improve my mixes, which helped me a lot as a producer.
Communication was fast and reliable, and he was always available whenever I had questions. I can highly recommend him and will definitely continue working with him in the future.

I had the pleasure to work with Dennis already and can truly say that this man is the biggest geek - but in a good way! The price you pay is absolutely worth the quality you get. I was impressed when I saw how seriously he treats his jobs. Clear recommendation from my side!

Interview with DUBS

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Digital. For modern Electronic Music, precision is key. Working In-The-Box allows me to make surgical cuts that analog gear often colors over. More importantly, it offers Total Recall. If a client needs a revision three days (or three months) later, I can open the session exactly as we left it. I believe in using technology to move fast and stay accurate, rather than relying on the "vibe" of vintage gear to fix a mix.

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: I will never return a master that I wouldn't play in a DJ set myself. I promise to be honest about your mix, respectful of your creative vision, and fast with my delivery. I treat every track like it's my own release.

  5. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  6. A: Don't fix it in the master—fix it in the mix. If you are unsure about your mixdown, I highly recommend choosing Stem Mastering rather than a standard Stereo Master. Sending me 4-8 groups (Kick, Bass, Drums, Synths, FX) allows me to fix balance issues that are impossible to correct in a single stereo file. It costs slightly more but yields a much more professional result.

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: My ability to understand Low-End issues. In Electronic music, the low-end makes or breaks the track. Because I trust my room and my ears, I can quickly identify if a kick is clashing with the sub-bass or if the low-mids are muddying up the drop. I don't just make tracks loud; I make them clear.

  9. Q: What's your typical work process?

  10. A: I believe in communication before processing. The Audit: I start by listening to your track (or stems). If I hear a major mix issue that mastering can't fix, I will tell you before I start working. I'd rather you fix the mix and get a better result than take your money for a bad master. The Work: I focus on balance, saturation, and competitive loudness. The Polish: I send you the master for review. I offer precise revisions to ensure the final product matches your vision.

  11. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  12. A: My setup is built around acoustic accuracy. I work in a professionally treated studio room designed for critical listening. This is my most important tool: it allows me to hear frequencies (especially sub-bass issues and stereo imaging problems) that untreated bedroom studios hide. Gear: I work 100% In-The-Box using industry-standard tools (FabFilter, Ozone, UAD) to ensure precise, modern, and clean results. My monitoring chain is transparent, so when I say the track is finished, I know it will sound right in the club, in the car, and on iPhone speakers.

  13. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  14. A: I specialize in Mastering and Stem Mastering for Electronic Music (Techno, House, EDM, etc.). My clients are often producers who have a great creative vision but struggle to get their mixes to translate outside of their home studios. I focus heavily on Low-End Management—ensuring the kick and bass relationship is powerful and clean, not muddy. I also offer Stem Mastering (grouping tracks like Drums, Bass, Vocals) for clients who want that extra layer of control and polish before the final master.
