Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm working on an edm track with beautiful vocals at the moment.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: There are few projects where i was producer and sound engineer that I'm proud of because they were released in top labels and become very succesful tracks.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Yes it's James S. He is very skilled in lofi and pop music.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: I think that digital because nowadays most of digital plugins don't stand out of analog gear. Inbox is more convenient and faster kind of work.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I always try to do my best and give and satisfy my clients.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: It's the best job in the world.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Can we make something like this ? And my answer mostly is yes :D

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: I think that I'm trying to be too perfect when I'm making music.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What inspires you ? Do you have an idea for your track ? What kind of sound are you looking for ?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Let's make some hits in friendly relationship :)

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: I think that laptop, headphones, phone, generator and well :)

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I'm making music from more than 12 years. From around 8 years I only ghost produce tracks for other artists.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: My style is energetic dance music with with an admixture of emotions which I always try to transfer in the track.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would like to work with Maarten Vorwerk. He's the "godfather" of ghostproducers :)

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: If you make dance music always focus on kickdrum. It's the most important thing in your mix !

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I usually work on electronic dance music. Mainly slap house, big room, techno, future house, tech house, trance and hardstyle.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: I love the whole process of music production. I don't like to rate myself and I think it's a draw between art and technical parts of production.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I think that catchy vocals or drop are the most common things that bring me to the song.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: If I have a vocal I usually start from finding catchy chords. If there aren't topline in the track I start from melody. Then I build the structure of the drop and break. If I have an initial outline of the track I start to mix the the drop and then the break. Next I make the whole arrangement and mix. In the end I master the track and reference with other tracks and on other audio setups.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: My studio gear is more "inbox" setup. I've got adam a7x monitors, universal audio apollo twin x, softube console 1 and arturia keylab 49. The most important thing for me is powerful pc. I use Fruity Loops and Ableton Live also. My favourite virtual synths are serum, sylenth1 and nexus. For effects I mostly use uad, fabfilter and waves plugins.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: My biggest inspirations are Maarten Vorwerk, Benno de Goeij, Toby Green and Ian Kirkpatrick. The way of their work and music production skills always inspires me.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I always try to understand what kind of sound my client is looking for. After sending me some reference tracks and idea I'm trying to do my best to satisfy client. I'm always open for discussion also to make the track the best as much as possible.
