  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: Solo projects, band projects, school projects, and whatever YOU send me!

  3. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  4. A: N/A

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Both are valid for different reasons. At school we use a lot of Analog but digital has a lot of benefits. As you can probably tell, I mainly use digital because It's easiest to be mobile with.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: You'll want to turn up the volume to max when I'm done

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: Everything- even the boring behind the scenes work. Everything about my work fits some aspect of the industry that I'm interested in so I don't have a favorite part.

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: I've gotten different questions for different projects. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: It's a waste of time and there's no money doing this.

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: Who's a main influence for you music? What's your favorite song right now? Outside of the genre you write in, what's your favorite genre? Who's an artist you like and who's an artist you dislike? Why are you doing music?

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Be patient- I'm a full time student with another part time job and a college social life to keep up with.

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: My computer, Alesis V 25 midi keyboard, an 88 key keyboard, Maschine Mikro or Maschine, and my phone (for mixing and recording sh*tty vocals)

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I always knew I wanted to go into music, I just didn't know what I wanted to do. Started piano at 5 and singing around that time too. I started producing because of an assignment in choir class freshman year of high school and never stopped. Now, I'm studying audio production and music business and learning the ins and outs of how to do this whole music industry thing.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: Wavy and danceable

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Dream collab would probably be Sickick, Post Malone, or TheKidLaroi.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Create with what you have- I've been producing for years and started on my phone. It doesn't matter what equipment you have- it matters what your music sounds like. If it sounds good then YOU'RE good.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Kinda depends on what I feel the sample or beat needs. Most of my solo work is classical inspired hip hop/ pop with EDM mixed in.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: Beat making/ producing, mixing, and piano.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: Because of my classical background and unique genre bending, I think I bring originality but also a sense of familiarity to a song. All music came from classical so I believe that when you mix classical aspects into your music it will sound both new and familiar at the same time.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I always make the beat first. Then as I'm mixing and structuring the beat I decide if it's a good fit for me or for someone else. When I have a client, however, I listen to their discography and I produce according to their sound.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: Always changing and it has to be mobile! Right now for production I have a 2020 Intel MacBook Pro with Logic. My main midi controller is the Alesis V25 but I also use the Maschine Mikro as well. My audio interface is the U-Phoria UMC202 HD from Behringer and my main mic for vocals and sampling (aside from my phone) is the C-1 also from Behringer.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: Artists who are doing everything on their own like what I aspire to do. Charlie Puth, Ed Sheeran, and Sickick to name a few. My personal sound is inspired by a combination of Sickick, blackbear, TheKidLaroi, Charlie Puth, and Benny Blanco.

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: Mainly hip hop performers, however I'm open to working with pretty much any genre.
