Badgato is the stage name of the mixing engineer and producer Israel, born in Alicante (Spain). His career officially began in 2013, although his passion for music started much earlier. Israel, or better known as Badgato, has always been attracted to all musical styles, taking the best of each one and giving his personal touch to each project. Since his early days in the music industry, Badgato has proven to be a creative and technical force.

  1. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  2. A: I work on every genre, but mainly pop, rnb, trap/hiphop and electronic.

  3. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  4. A: One thing easy for me is that a can focus on THE thing that's strong in the song, and make it bigger.

  5. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  6. A: I bring out the character and the personality that every song has.

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: My typical work progress depends on every song, but we could say that first I listen to the song, then I clean all the tracks to be ready for mixing. After that is just about the balance of the song and the add the sauce.

  9. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  10. A: Mike Shinoda. He is the most original and melodic nowadays, for me he's a genius in music.

  11. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  12. A: Mainly some electronic producers that have a unique style and personality, like Martin Garrix. But that's not all, I like all types of music. RnB, hip-hop, pop, and also I would say that rock, specially Linking Park.

  13. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  14. A: The most common work is balance and EQ, that is the main and the first in every project.
