Since the beginning of his career (for more than 20 years) Damian had the privilege of working with artists of various genres, from Hip Hop, Hard Rock or Dream Pop, Rap, Trap, and different urban genres, which have made him a versatile engineer when it comes to understand different musical genres.
He is also an instructor in the subjects Recording, Mixing and Mastering at the TECSON School of Recording Engineering since 2009 (one of the main schools of music production in Latin America).

Damian it´s not only a good friend, but a great teacher, i learned a lot from him at music production school; beside he is a "killer" professional; very accurate audio perception, judgement and knowledge. I reaaly trust in his points of views about music in general. Don´t hesitate hiring Damian´s services!!!

Damián has been the mastering engineer of my band's thirteen-song album, and what a great job he has done! I'm quite impressed of how fast and yet incredibly precise he is on his matter. He works in a very natural and straightforward fashion and a brief listen is enough for him to understand what's going on in each song and determine in which direction he needs to adress the mastering session. This tells how experienced he actually is.
He's very respectful about the music you leave in his hands, yet he'll give you honest viewpoints if needed. I absolutely recommend working with him! 😀

Damián es el profesional más completo con el que trabajé en mi vida. Al momento de trabajar juntos y encerrarnos en el estudio no dejó ni un rincón de la canción sin recorrer, se sumergió en mi idea y la mejoró al 1000% del potencial de la canción original. No tengo dudas de que vamos a volver a trabajar juntos, cada minuto adentro del estudio con él vale oro.
Venimos trabajando hace un tiempo en el proyecto Aukan en equipo. Damian es un excelente profesional siempre dispuesto a dialogar y a sacar lo mejor de un artista. Interview with Damián Gagliardi
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: They say that I achieve miracles (sometimes lol), but in reality many forget that the most important thing is the song.If the song is catchy, it moves, it transmits sensations, that's it!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Pay attention to the details, and do not abuse the density of instrumentation. Leave room, space, silences.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Right now, I'm working with artists who make trap music, rap, dream pop (lana del rey style) and always some rock!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: There is nothing more important to me than the artist or producer being happy with the sound of their music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I always try to highlight the most significant elements of the song, seeking to enhance the sensations that are to be transmitted
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually, I like to chat with the artist to understand what his wishes are regarding his music. Then, I load the audios in my Pro Tools, I make all the corresponding routes from my template so that my system works and voila, to work!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is a hybrid system, with the best of both worlds (analog and digital)
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I produce, rec mix and master music. Depending on the artist I work with I do one or more of these services.
