Mathias produced our christmas single "Wreck The Halls" - we recorded all the tracks ourselves and sent them off to him and he turned around a huge sounding, ballsy mix in a short time frame, was really patient and helpful with us on changes we wanted, did some adjustments where requested, and we could not be happier with the results! Highly recommend, we'll be coming back to him soon for our debut EP!

I was recording with some friends, and then mathias was there to listen. He probably thinks that there was a bit of bad dynamics in the song.So there were some changes in how he thought. And it was for the better. He has since mixed the song, and it sounds very clean and clear. Thanks for a good work.

For our 5 piece psychobilly project we sent our stems to Mathias Helsing Andersson for a full mix and mastering job. The results exeeded our expectations. The sound was rich, very clear, tidy and polished in a good way in that every nuance of the instruments / vocals was clearly audible. The mastered versions were lively and dynamic and stayed true to mixed versions. During the process there was room for our suggestions and wishes. Commincation was easy and efficient and it was a breeze working with Mathias.

I worked with Mathias on my single "Innocence". I sent him my modest home recordings and he took the tracks and turned them into a haunting single. I was amazed at what he managed to get from the quality of my recordings. It's easily my track of my own work, even though I've been to professional studios for previous work. Interview with Mathias Helsing Andersson

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. You have full control over everything when mixing digital, and, it's 2021, if you want a more analog sound you can easily emulate that with software only with more control over the end result. It's kinda a win win situation as of how I see it.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love music for starters, and I love seeing a mix grow and blossom from it's raw form to an actual product.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Listen to the provided music previews on the profiles so that you can hear how the different providers sounds like.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started as an apprentice at a live venue in my hometown about 15 years ago, after about two-three years I moved on to mixing recordings.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I think that my mixes has an organic sound to them.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I want to work with everyone
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Country, pop and pop rock but I'm usually open to everything.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Each project will always be different but I will bring the "ready for radio" - sound that you want for your next single.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mix 100% in the box.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Chris Lorde Alge and Billy Decker are two engineers that inspire me daily.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Take your time, go through the arrangement one more time. And, turn off that fan when you record your vocals.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing. I can provide a master if wanted.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I will do everything to make them happy and proud with their art.
