Pianist, keyboardist and composer, specialized in orchestral arrangements and music for media. I collaborated with world renowned artists and producers such as Volbeat, Amorphis, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Dimmu Borgir, Kreator, Angra, Dragonforce, Ice Nine Kills, Jens Bogren, Jacob Hansen and many others.
I can deliver top notch orchestral arrangements and cinematic sound design, ensuring the highest level of realism and crystal clear production. If you can't afford a real symphonic orchestra, I can fix that for you using the most advanced virtual instruments on the market.
I also write and produce scores for real ensembles, including strings and choir.
As an experienced pianist and keyboardist, I also offer my services for studio sessions and piano/keyboard arrangements of any kind, from rock to metal, funk, pop, R'n'B, electronic music and much more!
We'll be perfectly able to work on your music remotely in real time, thanks to Audio Movers, a high quality audio stream service (included in the price).
I've been a professional musician for over a decade now.
It all started in 2011, when I joined the extreme symphonic metal band Fleshgod Apocalypse as pianist, orchestrator and songwriter.
We've been touring extensively all over the globe and our albums appeared multiple times on "BIllboard Top 100" and many other top charts in Europe and Asia.
I've been lucky enough to collaborate with many renowned artists and producers in the metal scene.
If your music needs some "Hollywood" sparkle, I'm your guy!

Interview with Francesco Ferrini
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Probably Danny Elfman. He's one of my earliest and strongest influences.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been a full-time musician for ten years now. In 2011 I joined the extreme symphonic metal band Fleshgod Apocalypse and I've been touring all around the world ever since. Besides my job as pianist and orchestrator with them, I've been lucky enough to collaborate with some of the artists I was looking up to as a kid, such as Angra, Dimmu Borgir, Kreator and many others.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: It's a blend of pretty much everything I love, from progressive rock to movie scores, classical music and even electronic.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Follow your ear and never stop learning!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Most of my commissions come from symphonic metal bands, but I also worked on rock, funk and pop arrangements.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Blending orchestral instruments with heavy music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My love for orchestral music of any kind, and for my main instrument (piano). I put all myself on every project I'm working on. That's what happens when you love your job!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I typically start sketching ideas in my head first, trying to imagine the right mood for each part of the song. I always try to build a proper dynamic flow on the whole song before defining details. Inspiration can be very unpredictable: sometimes you find it away from the desk! Sometimes I find myself humming ideas on my phone just because I don't want to lose them.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My home studio is based on a PC workstation (Windows 10) running Cubase 10. I use a Korg M50 88-weighted keyboard as my main MIDI controller, coupled with Hexler TouchOSC for additional controls, shortcuts and macros.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my clients need to add realistic symphonic/cinematic arrangements to their music. Sometimes they provide basic ideas to develop together, but I'm often required to start from scratch.
