Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Factory flaw, super prouday because we nailed it and made the client super happy
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A 5 track LP for a band called Russter
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I do not know anyone yet on the site, but will soon and recommend later
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: A mix. The new digital equipment is modeled so well after the analog gear, it's tough to tell, but analog still in a lot of situations to get the warmth algorithms can't get
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: We will make you happy no matter what

A: I love getting lost in the music

A: Can you make me sound like.... band x Answer "Hell yes"!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it's easy and you can get the same quality from a home studio
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Have they ever recorded before We ask for sound references and bands that are of similar sound If they have any ideas they want to incorporate
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't be sucked into what people say they can do, make them show you, if your gut doestrogen not feel it, NEXT
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Acoustic guitar, a mic, the launchpad, the universal audio preamp, and the Avid HD OMNI pro
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: We have been recording since 1998 and our path is to become oneven of the top studios in Mexico City
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Our style is very versatile and influenced by so many things. We call it "Omni style"
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: We would love to work with someone like Tool or Deftones. Try have so much creativity it's not even funny
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't record too hot. It's like adding salt to good, you can always add more, but you can never take it out!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: We work on all kinds of types of music, recently we have made movement in the rock, hard rock, and hip hop genres
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Listening.... and getting the sound that the client wants with analog or digital equipment.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: We bring so many different elements, feelings, and color to the tracks that we record. What sets us apart from others is that music is in all of our DNA and we are all artists at the end of the day
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Our work process is very simple and adjustable to the client. We really like to let people record without feeling like they are being recorded. We arm the tracks and sometimes step out and just let the band do what they do
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Our studio setup consists of our live room and a control room. The control room is very comfortable with a huge sofa, allowing for a nice relaxing place, and our rooftop terrace allows for you to get away from it all and get focused.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: We have so many inspirations it's tough to list them all. We love all music and I think that this sets us apart from our competition

A: We mostly do live recording in our studio B, mixing, engineering and pre mastering.
