Daniel Davies is a Welsh mix engineer, recording engineer and producer whose skills and experience have been enhanced by mentoring from Grammy award-winning producer, Pete Smith ( The Police, Cheryl Crow, Van Morrison) and John Gallen (Queen, Motorhead, The Damned).
Daniel Davies is a passionate and well-versed music engineer & producer based in Brighton. His mixing, recording, and music production skills have been developed throughout his 10 years in the industry. He has been mentored by Grammy award-winning producer Pete Smith (The Police, Cheryl Crow, Van Morrison) and John Gallen (Queen, Motorhead, The Damned).
As a Music Production graduate from BIMM University, he gained knowledge and experience in studio production, live sound engineering and audio post-production by working on a high volume of projects. Currently, Daniel is linked to several ongoing projects.
As a member of an active roster for a Sync Library – Kablamo Music, where he composes tracks for the gaming and film industry. He shares his knowladge and experience with students by taking part in master classes in the college which sparked his passion for music – Coleg Sir Gar. Lastly, Daniel is contracted as a Studio Engineer at Homewood Studio, where he leads the production process from start to finish.

Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For me its all about interaction with the clients. I like to get to know each person and find out what their passion is. We sit down over a coffee or zoom (If online) and discuss where they see the track.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My Studio setup is hybrid. Working at (Homeward recording studio) and also remote and my home studio setup.

A: Produce Like A Pro Rob Caggiano Andrew Scheps Pete Smith and many more.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
