Daniel Davies is a Welsh mix engineer, recording engineer, and producer with over 12 years of experience in music production, recording, and sound mixing. His expertise has been shaped by mentorship from Grammy Award-winning producers Pete Smith (The Police, Sheryl Crow, Van Morrison) and John Gallen (Queen, Motörhead, The Damned).
He earned a 1st class honours BSc in Music Production from The British and Irish Modern Music (BIMM) Institute Brighton (2018-2021) and previously studied Music Technology at Coleg Sir Gâr, developing skills in studio production, live sound engineering, and audio post-production.
Proficient in Pro Tools, Cubase, and Logic Pro X, Daniel has collaborated with industry-leading professionals, including Rob Caggiano and Pete Smith. His work spans music production for top clients such as APM, Sonic Librarian, Loaded Productions, and Kablamo Music.
With a strong foundation in sound design and film music production, Daniel excels in optimizing studio workflows for maximum efficiency. His ability to blend technical precision with creative vision ensures high-quality, impactful results in every project.

Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For me its all about interaction with the clients. I like to get to know each person and find out what their passion is. We sit down over a coffee or zoom (If online) and discuss where they see the track.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My Studio setup is hybrid. Working at (Homeward recording studio) and also remote and my home studio setup.
