Platinum-certified touring & session drummer, producer, and songwriter trusted by Juno-nominated artist Jamie Fine, with credits including NCT Dream and the multi-platinum hit Ridin'. Bringing world-class drums, production, and musical direction to your project.
I’m a Toronto-based touring and session drummer, producer, and songwriter with international credits across pop, R&B, and alternative music.
I’ve toured and recorded extensively with multi-time Juno nominee and Platinum-selling artist Jamie Fine, performing and recording for major TV broadcasts, music videos, and live events—including national broadcasts like the Grey Cup.
My work includes collaborations with NCT Dream on their multi-platinum single Ridin', as well as Jamie Fine’s South African Platinum-certified record If Anything’s Left.
Through my company, D.R.U.M Productions, I also specialize in developing independent and emerging artists—providing industry-standard recording, production, and musical direction to help bring their vision to life at a professional level.
Whether you need live drums, songwriting support, production, or full creative direction, I bring major-label experience, precision, and passion to every project.

Interview with Darius Martin
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Having a passion for both instrumentation as well as melody and the lyrical composition of the music, I feel I bring a lot of diversity and creativity to a song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: That all depends on the task at hand. If I'm working on a beat for example, I tend to listen to music within the realm of what I'm aiming to create & more importantly never ever overthink anything. I gave myself the space to create first and once I'm happy with the idea, I turn my focus to the arrangement and flow of the song. My process is never limited to any specific routine in any way.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: So... I work out of two main studio's... The first studio is a basement studio that I use for music production & programming. We have have Apollo FireWire 18x24 (w/ every possible plugin you could think of lol), A pair of Kali Audio Speakers & Sub, A full isolated vocal booth that contains a Slate Digital ML-1 microphone & Pop-Up-Shot Basketball Arcade game, which is really the highlight of it all aha. The live studio I work out of contain my 5 piece PDP Concept Maple kit, Zildjian Cymbals, Remo Drumheads, DW Hardware & Roland Electronics. I use SE Electronic mic's to capture all my audio, running into another Apollo Rack Interface and Pro-Tools as my live DAW of choice.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: That's a lengthy list...to name a few, Devon "Stixx' Taylor is a major influence on not just my drumming style but my approach to music as whole. Another big musical influence of mine on the production side would be Timbaland. His sound is so distinct and unique and being a drummer, I appreciate the creative rhythms and patterns he comes up with.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Due to the ongoing pandemic we're all doing our best to manage, session recordings, beatmaking & song production are the most common types of work presently.
