I can either write a topline to your existing track, create a vocal arrangement for your song (track my vocals for you, which you can use with my voice, or to track your own vocals to as a guide) or play piano and or keys on your track. I studied piano at Berklee and have a very versatile feel. Also, my sounds include the best from Nord, Arturia and more. I can work in any genre with smart sensitivity toward that genre, but my specialty genre's are Soul/R&B and EDM.

Interview with Dan Burke (Gamble & Burke)
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill(s) is melody writing, vocal tone and harmony layering.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I believe I bring memorable and genuine soulful songwriting to any song I work on. Great melody, interesting and sincere lyrics and pro vocals. Also, background harmony layering.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: In writing, I usually settle on a title or subject matter and write a few lyric lines to build from. From there I try to develop the melody so the lyrics don't box in the tune too much. Melody and hooks are super important imo. I always track my melody ideas as I go in case I stumble on a dope line and don't wanna miss it.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use a Warm Audio WA-47 Tube condenser mic with UA Apollo Twin interface. I record in Logic Pro. Nord Stage is my main keyboard though I have an extensive assortment of plug-ins for key/synth sounds. I record in a large wood-paneled room that is well sound treated.

A: Some of my top inspirations vocally and melodically are The Weeknd, Justin Timberlake, Miguel, Troye Sivan, Harry Styles, John Legend, Mayer Hawthorne, Prince. Production-wise SG Lewis, Cosmo's Midnight, Calvin Harris, Mark Ronson, Poolside, Chromeo
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Writing toplines for various EDM artists. The style I've been most successful writing to is the more chill trop house side of EDM as well as the more hip hop infused future bass feel.
