I can mimic artists like Evanescence, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Florence + the Machine, Bebe Rexha, Idina Menzel, Lady A, and more. I am very versatile and will get the job done. I am ALSO great at writing lyrics, especially hooks.
Growing up it was always really frustrating when people told me to "pick a genre", because when I would perform live, I would do multiple genres. I didn't want to pick a genre, because I enjoyed singing a lot of them. Whenever I would audition for singing shows, the fact that I didn't know what my genre was always my downfall.
Session work helped me realize that there can be amazing opportunities for vocalists that are versatile, and I'm so grateful for that.
I am able to sing pretty much any vocal style you need. I am often hired to record popular songs that are then reproduced for workout music. (artists/groups listed in my pitch are examples of styles I've been hired to record).
