Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: 100 percent satisfaction.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love mixing audio, the idea of creating something that is permanent is what life is all about.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I studied Audio Engineering at Berklee College of Music for two years and have been professionally mixing for bands ever since.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Willing to take a chance, and smart enough to have a backup plan.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Not giving up, I will do what it takes to make my clients 100 percent happy.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: How do you envision the song that you want mixed? Is there a particular band that you think is mixed similar to the song that you want mixed.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like the best of both worlds, I use a lot of digital software that does an amazing job of emulating great vintage gear. It is amazing what we do these days.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) is comprised of 27 inch iMac Quad core computer, running Pro Tools 12 through DynAudio studio monitors. I use an extensive amount of top of the line plugins from Waves, Slate Audio, Fabfilter, and Softubes to name a few. As far as On-Site Recording goes, I use A Macbook Pro running Presonus Studio One 3 (Professional) with a Focusrite Clarett 8 Prex interface and microphones from Neumann, Shure, AKG, Audio-Technica and Sennheiser.
