Scott has featured on two of my tracks and has been nothing but professional both times. Always has time to discuss any issues and does exactly what is asked in stellar time. A top notch professional.

Scott is a delight to work with, and went above and beyond on a very tight deadline to really nail the brief. He brings creativity and understanding to projects and is a joy to be around, not to mention a cracking player. Big big recommendation.

I've known and worked with Scott for many years now and we have played on countless records together. Both on the stage and in the studio he is a consummate professional who always delivers and goes above and beyond for both his clients and fellow musicians.

He is a phenominal musician/arranger/producer and is simply the most versatile studio guitarist I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

(Also, while not strictly a musical endorsement, it also bears mentioning that he's an absolutely lovely guy and a wicked cook too...)

Scott is the definitive professional. I have worked on many tracks with Scott, both in large studios and remotely from his own set up, the part writing, execution, tone and recording are always top grade. Scott brings a great deal of creative inspiration to the table and is a pleasure to work with. He is (and I'm not alone) the go to guy for my studio.

I have been working with Scott in live situations as well as in the studio. He played on songs I was producing and I worked on songs he produced. MDing a live show, producing songs for other people or recording guitars as a session player... No matter what role he is in he fits right in and knows how to make the project work. And he is a super nice guy to be around so very highly recommend him for your next project. Oh and don't be fooled, it doesn't need to be country, he can handle pretty much anything you throw at him.

I've worked with Scott extensively over the years, both live and in the studio. Whether in the role of producer, arranger, MD or multi-faceted session musician, he always brings his A-game, and his presence elevates any project he is involved with.

On a personal level, Scott is one of the most thoughtful, generous and supportive individuals I've had the pleasure of knowing, and it's an honour to call him a friend.

I’ve worked with Scott on a few remote recording projects. His pedal steel is up there with all the Nashville greats. He compliments my tracks beautifully, understands what I’m requiring and enhancing that further. The subtleties of his work are just phenomenal. Look forward to more work with Scott in the very near future.

Scott smashed the EP project with his commitment to the project. Effortless and quick Guitar work adaptable to the vibes we were after. Scott's pedal Steele playing and gear was stunning and a highlight. Scott had a wide range of amazing equipment from guitars, pedals and his knowledge of hardware, software and instruments is impressive. One of the best our there basically. On a personal note he's a too lad and a joy to be with in the studio. Can't recommend him enough. MRM

Scott is among the most talented multi-instrumentalists you could ever imagine working with. He played pedal steel on a track of mine and provided me with exactly what I needed and more. Don’t hesitate to reach out to him, he’s a great addition to any project and you’ll be extremely pleased with his work.

We'll like the other five star reviews I've just read Scott is a bit special. Amazing guitarist and pedal steel player bringing just the right amount of colour and flavour to any song he plays on. Inventive, engaging and in complete control of his chosen instruments and studio recording desk. A musician, technician, engineer, producer of exceptional quality. It's hard to go wrong. I must also mention his ability to pull a team together. If you need a whole band he can book them in, organise the band of crack muto hit tto ground running because he's teed up the songs, and you just watch them go!

Scott is a force of nature! Not only is he a brilliant & verstile musician, producer & arranger, but he's a thoroughly decent, funny and engaging chap! We asked Scott to produce our "Powder & Shot" album some years back. His attention to detail, ability to connect with the musicians and his passion for the project resulted in a recording that exceeded everyone's expectations! He also played on a number of the tracks...did I mention that he's a brilliant musician!?

I've done a whole bunch of fiddle sessions at Scott's studio over the years and they've been consistently fun, fruitful and even educational! Scott knows exactly how to get the best out of you, when to push and when to call a tea break. He 100% knows his stuff but it is this quality that sets him apart in this field.

For our latest album we had Scott record some pedal steel parts remotely at his studio. He is a professional joy to work with. From his communication with us beforehand over what we'd like from the parts to the session being delivered to us promptly. It was so tastefully played that his parts on the final product effortlessly blended in like a member of the band which was everything we hoped for and more!

When Scott started working on my first project it was evident that i was in the hands of someone truly gifted in playing & arranging. I have now worked with Scott several times now. His preparation and abilities are truly first class, never failing to impress and has a wonderful knack of taking your suggestions to a level way beyond you think were possible. Not only that he's a lovely guy to work with as well. Simply the Best

I first met Scott at Parr Street Studios when recording my first album. I was so impressed with his guitar playing and pedal Steel playing, I just knew I had to ask him to work on my 2nd album. This time, I did not need to go into the studio because I asked Scott to record the guitar, bass and pedal steel instruments from his private studio. I don't play an instrument, I can only strum a few chords on the guitar. Just from hearing those chords and my vocals along with it, he made the song come alive. I was blown away by the end results. I cannot recommend Scott enough. PURE TALENT!

On top of being one of the most accomplished and talented guitarists and pedal steel players I’ve ever worked with, Scott’s knowledge of production, songwriting and arrangement brings huge value to any project. He’s also one of the nicest guys and super professional 100% of time. Can’t recommend enough!

Scott is without doubt one of the most talented musicians I have ever encountered. I don’t think it is unrealistic at all to say he is without doubt a virtuoso of guitar and pedal
steel apart from his all round multi instrument abilities. He was a joy to work with when he produced our album, Behind the Masquerade. His wisdom and advice was invaluable and his instrumental contributions just mind blowing. We will be working with him very soon on a new project when we can all meet again. In my humble opinion the guy is a genius and above all a really nice fella!

Scott brings more to your project than you can imagine from this quick review. His talent brought our album alive in ways that would not have been possible without him. From arranging, production ideas, playing both lead guitar and pedal steel, he was brilliant across the board. We look forward to working with Scott in the future and would highly recommend him to you.
