GDA Productions is comprised of a team of engineers with years of experience in all genres. Convey your vision to us for your project and we will bring that to life. Using a hybrid setup of outboard saturation, EQ, clipping, and limiting, along with plugins from fabfilter, plugin alliance, waves, and more, you'll be sure to get the best quality possible. Our engineers listen on three sets of speakers ranging from Adam Audio full-frequency speakers to small Yamaha's to make sure your mixes and masters will translate on any speaker.

  1. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  2. A: Kenny Beats and Manny Marroquin have to be the biggest inspirations to the team. We don't overthink or overproduce and we try and feel the music more than listen to it. It's what "feels" good not what "sounds" good.

  3. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  4. A: Stay Away by Rumour was an incredible project to record and mix because I got to hear the song on the radio and get to #80 in the country across all radio stations.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: There are a lot a great people on SoudBetter. I strongly recommend read clients testimonials and review to better gauge the type of experience you can expect.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Both... In a world powered by digital technology there's no escaping its ease and use. That being said, there are certain harmonic tonal quality that can only be achieved through analog gear.

  10. A: I always assure my clients that they're the ones control.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Making the client overjoyed at the end of the project.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That you can learn the skills and be good. Anyone can learn the skills. It's knowing when to use them and when not to use them.

  18. A: What is your vision? What do you want your listeners to feel when other people hear your songs.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Tell me everything. Even if you think it's nothing. Tell me every vision and thought you have about your project.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: We have a team of engineers and musicians who have been working on music for over 15 years.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Passionate and Ego-less.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I'd love to just be in the studio with Fineas O'Connell. I believe he's very underrated as an artist as a musician. I'm sure we'd have a lot to discuss

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Here at GDA Productions, we do feature a lot of Rap and Hip-Hop, but we have worked with artist from a variety of Genres from Rock to Classical and Gospel.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: To understand what a song is asking for. Each song is asking for something to be done and sometimes it's barely anything and other times it's a lot. We will do whatever necessary to bring about how you hear it in your head.

  34. A: As both an engineers and musicians we have 2 perspectives and have been on both sides of the glass.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: Understand the vision of the client, then bring that vision into reality.

  38. A: We have a hybrid setup with multiple pieces of outboard gear giving saturation and glue, EQ, compression, and limiting when needed.

  39. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  40. A: Currently, The GDA productions team is working on several album projects with various artist.

  41. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  42. A: RECORD EVERYTHING!!! Even if the client says he just wants to practice, record it anyway. You Never Know...
