Turn your recordings into sonic gold. Recorded and mixed official theme song for Minnesota Vikings.
My career as an audio engineer started 10 years ago on the beautiful and musically rich island of Jamaica where I worked primarily with reggae music for local artists. My humble beginnings started in zinc fence and "cardboard" studios where I created instrumentals, recorded the artists, and mixed their music. Over the years I have gone on to work and learn from many of Jamaica's leading audio engineers such as Barry O'hare and Gary Sutherland who have engineered Grammy award winning and nominated projects.
I live and work out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, home of the legendary recording artist Prince. Here in Minneapolis is where I have a lot of experience mixing and mastering a broader range of musical genres such as Hip-Hop, RnB, Pop, Indie, World, Rock, and Afrobeat all through opening my own independent music production business, "Princeton Brown Mastering." During my career as an engineer I have also taught music production, mixing, and mastering at the High School for Recording Arts in St. Paul, Minnesota, for 3 years. They say you don't know something till you teach it!
My goal when mixing is most importantly to achieve balance but also make sure every element within a mix can be clearly heard and felt. Overall, music is all about the feeling it gives you, and I mix so that it feels good above all else. Start a project with me and hear what you've been missing!
