I've spent years crafting my vocal ability and melodic instincts. Pulling from my influences (Coldplay, Death Cab For Cutie, and Noah Gundersen) I've honed in on my own sound inspired by my heroes. If you are looking for a unique voice or infectious melodies for your next project I am your man.
I grew up/live in Nashville, TN. I have worked in music for most of my life. Between being a front man of a rock & roll band (Goldpark), consistently working in the songwriting community of Nashville, and being a part of tons of studio recording projects I have plenty of experience in what I do. My specialties are: singing, songwriting (melody and lyrics), and general music production. I have worked in many different genres from folky americana to full band rock & roll. I'm open to any and all projects so please do not hesitate to send me a request! Thanks!

Interview with Wesley James
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Anything from pop to rock & roll.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is my vocal ability.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I think I bring a unique vocal sound and an infectious melodic sensibility to a song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My process normally starts with observing what the client has supplied me with. This could be a track with no vocal or a predetermined melody with lyrics. Next I will create voice notes of ideas/vibes that I could bring to the project. From there I determine which ideas are best and then I execute the vocal.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Typically I supply my clients with a vocal for a production they are working. This could be predetermined melody and lyrics that I sing straight or it could be a top-lining situation.
