  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: A project called " Chronicles of a Queen" by Christina Rivera, that's coming out this year. The single is out now called " Say less Selah". I'm proud of it because I produced, recorded, mixed and mastered the whole album and people love it already and most importantly so does my client.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Spanish Rap EP, Worship EP, Alternative Rock/rap Album.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: No

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Mostly digital with analog summing. Because plugins have come a long way but with summing I still get the analog sound.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I'm not happy until you're happy.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Learning and being creative and meeting great artist.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Mostly whats the turnover time. I'd say usually 2 days

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: People actually think if a song is 3:30 min long then it didn't take that long to make it. LOL

  18. A: What kind of project are you looking to do?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Vibes is everything so find the right match and run with it.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Computer, mic, speaker monitors, interface, headphones.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I've been producing and engineering for over 20 years and been full time with it for 8 years.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: A little gritty, hard but I can do feel good music as well.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: J Cole because I like his flow and SZA because her writing and note choices are so unique.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Know the artist you're working with. Hear the direction they want to go towards. Get a feel for their style before attempting to create a track for them.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: hiphop, RnB, Rock

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Producing, tracking, Mixing and mastering.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I play multiple instruments and know about flow and harmonies, riffs, etc.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: If the music is done, we'll get the session setup and start tracking vocals. If production is needed I'll meet with the artist in the studio or zoom and get a feel for the direction and genre and start creating the track. Then setup a day for vocals and production additions.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I have my control room with my speaker setup, dangerousmusic analog summing. I have a vocal booth with window and screen for lyrics.

  42. A: Chris Lord Alge, Neal Pogue, Paul Meany, Hit Boy, Pharrell, Kanye, Manny Marroquin.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: Production, recording, mixing and mastering. Some vocal production, some writing.
