I want to work on that 1st idea that you really want to do but didn't say. I became a producer because I love collaborating and showing people that they have good creative ideas and can bring them to life
My goal is to give artists a space to be themselves and make the music they really want to make. I like to get together and make tracks from scratch with an artist until the record is done. I want to make sure that if you work with me, you're getting a sound that's tailored to any artist that comes in. I specialize in Rnb and Pop but also work in EDM and my foundation is in hiphop. I have a comfortable furnished studio based in Nashville where artists come to write and create.

Interview with Adam Stecker
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently I am working as a composer on a touring Ice skating show. It is a collection of 18 "disney esque" songs with a team of writers and an engineer
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Aj Manello is my go to engineer. I have worked with him for years and I trust my songs with him any time of the day.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise is that you will be taken seriously. I want to make a song that YOU want to make and to have fun doing it. I promise that you will get to experiment and try out sounds because you want to. I promise that the drums will knock, 100% guarantee
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been producing for over 10 years now. I started as an artist but really had more fun making the tracks and arranging than I did recording myself. After awhile I started working for other people and when I saw them smile when they heard what we were working on I knew I was doing something I love. Now I do it every day.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Pop and Rnb but my foundation is in Hiphop. I also work on a lot of remixing for the EDM/Indie pop world.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup is very homey. I spend a lot of time down there. I have a few mics always ready to go and an apollo twin routing everything. I have a performance electric piano in its own space for anyone who wants to use it to write or perform. Often it gets used to trade chord progressions with the artist/writer in a session.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My greatest inspirations are the ones that got me wanting to produce in the first place. Timbaland, Just Blaze, and Kanye West are just a few. More recently, Jon Bellion and Lido have been my favorite producers to watch and study.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Normally when an artist comes to my studio we talk for awhile and I get a sense of what they are working on and want to do. Then we get started on the idea. I start programming or playing all while talking about the song and what they want to say. I do my best to listen alot. By the time we're done, we'll be jammin' to a demo. Other times, I will be asked to do drums on songs by other engineers or artists who want my spin on something.
