My name is Jaret Carpenter and I am an independent session guitar player and producer with 13 years of experience. Please reach out regarding remote tracking options. I am open to texting, phone call, or video call and would love to hear about your project.

My goal is to get you a product that you are proud of. I have a passion for creating and am inspired through the works of my peers. It is because of this, that I do not set limits on tracking.

My recording and mixing process is as follows. I will first identify a proper dual mic placement, depending on the sound that is inspired from the track. Next, I will begin to identify hollow sections of the mix, it is within these hollow sections that I will begin to layer guitar parts. From here, I will consider modulation and dynamics processing to glue the mix together. I am often inspired by vintage textures and transient and typically balance with a modern style. Once I have tracks recorded and processed, I will create multiple sonic options to send to my client. This process allows me to further understand the emotion and feel behind the track and ultimately leads to better results.
