As a bassist, I've had the opportunity to extensively perform and record domestically and internationally, notably including performances at Madison Square Garden, Newport Jazz Festival, and Blue Note Tokyo. I've been featured on recordings in many styles including R&B, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Hip Hop, Blues, and Country, and I'm equally comfortable on electric, upright and synth bass.
As a producer, I've helped artists bring songs to life across a wide range of styles. My main goal as a producer is creating a sense of unique inevitability – creating an arc so that every single piece of a track feels perfect and irreplaceable, which I’ve found to be the biggest determining factor in maintaining a listener’s interest over many listens.
Wherever you are in your process – whether we're starting from scratch, or with an iPhone demo, or a full production that needs finishing touches – I'll give you quality results. With tracking work, I'll communicate quickly and clearly, delivering bass stems within two days or a full-production first draft within four days. I will include several ideas for bass parts and consult you throughout the process so you get a product you are super happy with.
I have a studio in Brooklyn where I can record bands as well.

Chris is very professional and a great musician. He turned around a bass part I needed for a track within a couple of days and made it sound exactly how I had envisioned. He's great to work with and is great about feedback as well. Highly recommend working with Chris!

Chris was such a breeze to work with. Communication was on point & he presented me with more than what I had imagined for my project.
A musical gem for sure! :) Chris was an absolute hero; coming through with a last minute tracking request and performing PHENOMENALLY. Awesome to work with, thoughtful, supremely creative with excellent instincts -- could not recommend more highly!
I’ve played Chris a number of times as an upright & electric bassist. His bass playing is super tasty — deft and fluid, with a rich tone & an willingness to explore the musical moment. Chris’ secret weapon though is his versatility. He can effortlessly shift from jazz to rnb to rock with ease AND flair.
I also worked with Chris as an engineer a couple of weeks ago at his studio, when he tracked my vocals for a commercial. He very quickly dialed in my sound and got my vocals crispy & full in my monitors, making my job that much more effortless. I can’t recommend him enough!
Working with Chris is a fantastic experience. He has a great intuitive feel for how to elevate the music and works diligently to get it done RIGHT. He provides a great environment to work and be creative in. Highly recommended!
Chris is a super talented and versatile bassist and producer. Not only is he an absolute joy to work and collaborate with but he knows how to hear out and hone in on each artists' sonic vision. You can tell how fluent he is in so many genres but it never takes away from how innovative his musical instincts are in any given project. Chris is a great communicator, collaborator, super chill and excited to get it right with quick turnarounds. I'm grateful to work with him and would recommend him in a heart beat.
