Sound lab and recording studio for creative music projects. Winner of the BBC3/Museum of Sound SOUND OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2020 for ‘Best studio sound recordist’ and shortlisted for ‘Best Artificial Sound’.
Rampa Studios is a sound lab managed by Jaume Reus (producer, flutist) and Laia Malo (musician, singer, poet songwriter). Our studio includes live room and control room. Together we are also Jansky: a live electronic music duo.
We love working on out-of-the-ordinary projects, and we specialize in beat-making, session flutes and songwriting. We also compose and produce soundtracks for cinema, theatre, live performances and advertisement.
Jaume is a trained jazz flutist, with experience in flamenco and Latin rhythms. He can improvise and beatbox, with his own experimental touch. He is endorsed by Gemainhardt Flutes (USA) as their European ambassador.
Laia is a renowned poet & songwriter, with a particularly sensual diction and voice. She can write in English, Spanish and Catalan.
