LuckyLefty on SoundBetter

If you're looking for the hardest hitting bars, then I'm who you're looking for. If you want those lines that'll make someone stop and think, then I'm who you're looking for. If wordplay and in depth lyricism is what you're seeking, then look no further because I can provide all of that for you.

I've been writing and recording music since 2008/2009. The majority of my work is Hip-Hop but I've never liked to limit or box myself in which is why instead of "rapper" I refer to myself as an "artist". I'm making myself available for features but more importantly and at the forefront of my I'm here is to offer my writing services. As stated before my pen is not just limited to helping on Hip-Hop songs, I can and will help out with penning lyrics for any and every genre.

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Interview with LuckyLefty

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: All of my own projects because so much hardwork goes into each one and they each mean something special to me.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I'm in the process of recording 2 group projects as well as a new solo project that I'm scheduling to drop later this year.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: N/A

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: I honestly have no preference.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I promise to give 100% with each project I work on. There will be no lack of motivation at any point and I promise to bring everything to the table needed to produce a great final product that all artists can be proud of.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Music is my love, my passion, and my dream so being able to have music involved with what I do on a daily basis is great.

  13. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  14. A: What is your vision for the song? Do you have any ideas that you want me to focus on and flesh out? Is there any particular song structure you prefer?

  15. Q: How would you describe your style?

  16. A: A balance of lyrical ability and different flows.

  17. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  18. A: Jadakiss and Styles P because I grew up listening to them and they have heavily influenced my style.

  19. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  20. A: Hip-Hop

  21. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  22. A: I feel that I deeply analyze things so when penning lyrics I'm able to take into account how others may feel and react to the music. I try to put myself in their shoes and I feel I have the ability to pinpoint what it is that they will like and what will have the most impact.

  23. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  24. A: Originality & Creativity.

  25. Q: What's your typical work process?

  26. A: I listen to the music and speak with the artist to see what ideas they have and what direction they may want to take the song in. After that I really just lock in with the music bouncing different ideas around in my head. I'll write out some lyrics and maybe run through a draft or two before I get to the final product.

  27. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  28. A: Full out writing for songs or just helping tweak certain lyrics.
