Hey there... I have heard a lot of people say that finding a good, reliable and punctual drummer is hard. My name is Georgios, a Musician's Institute graduate and professional session drummer with 20+ years of drumming experience and I am here to change that.
Although I mainly play rock and metal music, I have played drums for artists ranging from Country to Pop to Industrial Metal. I have performed in numerous shows throughout Greece and Los Angeles in highly regarded music venues like "Whisky a Go Go" and "The Viper Room" in L.A. and one of the most popular live-music venues in Greece, "Gagarin 205", as well as at the National Opera of Greece as a percussionist, at the age of 21.

PROCESS
1 - I will need an .mp3 or .wav of your song with instructions (if any). Recording to a metronome is preferred but not required. The structure of the song must be finished before sending it to me.
2 - Once I hear the song, I will get back to you with the cost and time needed.
3 - If we come to an agreement, I will record and email you a take of your song in .mp3 or midi format (up to you).
4 - Should we need to revise, 3 revisions are included.
P.S.: I currently only record on the E-Drums using Cubase Pro 11 and Addictive Drums 2 (until my home studio is finished).
If you like what you hear... I look forward to working with you.

Endorse GeorgiosI know Georgios since 2015 when my band was looking for a drummer and shorty after that we recorded a single called Fall Prey and its music vid. Great musicianship, pro attitude, always friendly, open minded. He will always do the right choices to the song. I can't recommend him enough. You must hire this versatile drummer and you'll not be disappointed!
I had the pleasure and luck of finding and working with Georgios even before he created his Soundbetter. He worked on one of my acoustic tracks that needed drums and some light percussion (shakers and tambourine) and he did a phenomenal job. He did not overpower the song and added the right amount of “spice” to it. Cannot recommend enough.
An all-around exceptional rock & metal drummer!
we have so far worked in 2 productions together and he will be my go-to drummer for more.
Technically apt, with a great feel for the music and deeply creative.
Moreover a great team player that performs 100% for the music, always true to his mission of delivering drums that elevate the song.
From styles to phrasing to consistency, if you have the opportunity to hire him for your project, do so..! You will not look back.
Interview with Georgios
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Jess P. Tzimas. He is a great guitar player and amazing at mixing. He can play anything, is flexible and open to new ideas and concepts.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Undoubtedly it's work ethic along with communication. We discuss, we agree and we get to work.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It all starts with communication. After I receive the track from the customer, I will talk with them to try and understand exactly what they need for their song. Then, in turn, that will set the right expectations in term of compensation and time frame. Once we have agreed, I will record and email a take of the song. 2 revisions are included.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Although I prefer analog, there is no doubt that digital has it's perks.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do my best to deliver exactly what you want and need for your project and maintain an open and sincere line of communication.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like the fact that I can set my own schedule and play music for a living. Also, meeting tons of new people is always a plus.. you never know what tomorrow will bring!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Most common questions are: "How much does it cost?" and " How long will it take?". The answers are directly linked to the amount of work they need me to do.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do you want your listeners to feel? Do you have any songs that match the style of drums you want?
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Definitely a rock player. I strive for consistency, feel and groove.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Especially for drummers, less is more.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I prefer to work on Rock & Hard Rock tracks but I am always open to other options like Country, Acoustic, Pop, Blues and Metal.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my well-rounded sound as well as my passion for drums and all music.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by Gavin Harrison. He takes drums to the next level and his ideas and concepts on orchestrating regular drum patterns ands rhythms is phenomenal.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Provide my customers with high-quality drum tracks. I have studied many years to reach a point where I am able to lock-in the groove and make it feel right.
