Remote Mastering Services

Pedro Maiz on SoundBetter

My approach is flexible and client-centered. I take time to establish rapport with my clients and don't start working on the project until I understand precisely what the end-goal is. You'll choose the destination, and I'll work on getting us there using professionally-trained skills, gear, software, and an objective listening environment.

For mastering services: we will have a short meeting via zoom (free of charge) to establish a connection and determine if we are a good fit for one another. If we decide to move forward, I will send you a list of materials that I need to work with. This includes a final mix/ stem tracks, reference tracks, and information about what it is your looking for. We will then set up a call to go over the materials and I will provide a timeline for the project completion (this could range between 1-7 days).

I have a background as a musician for over 20 years and started training in audio engineering about 6 years ago. As a musician, I can take the perspective of an artist and understand what it is that my clients are trying to go for. However, I will primarily take on the perspective of an engineer while I am working on the project. My decision-making is unbiased. I will stay focused on being an objective listener and delivering whatever it is that you are expecting.

I have a broad range of experience working with materials from many genres. The majority of my experience has been in working with rock musicians who play loudly and aggressively (punk/pop punk/hardcore, emo, indie, alt, metal, etc...). I also have experience in mastering a variety of latin music genres, rap, hip hop, ska/reggae, pop, and more.

Tell me about your project and how I can help, through the 'Contact' button above.
