  1. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  2. A: I can enhance the artist vision staying true to the original material.

  3. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  4. A: Most of the time I work on the mixing and mastering side of audio production, it can be songs,music/FX and/or dialogues for multimedia projects

  5. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  6. A: I worked on South Park's Italian dubbing as a recording and mixing engineer, a lot fun!

  7. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  8. A: I am working on a indipendent movie about the history of the Gaza Strip.

  12. A: Digital: more flexible, more reliable, eco friendlier.

  13. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  14. A: I'll do it as fast as I can without compromising quality.

  16. A: I work with music, best job out there.

  17. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  18. A: How much and how long.. Jokes aside every client is different.

  19. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  20. A: There is no secret sauce is just a matter of trained ears and knowing the tools to use.

  21. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  22. A: Mainly I ask for references so I can tailor the final result to their taste.

  23. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  24. A: Keep an open mind knowing the you have the final word.

  25. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  26. A: My Mackie's monitors, a computer and a few trusted plugins is all I need to be honest.

  27. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  28. A: I started tinkering with audio and music production by 2006ish. I graduated in audio engineering in 2012. Since then I worked in several professional studios before going full freelance a few years ago.

  29. Q: How would you describe your style?

  30. A: Deep, precise and multilayered.

  31. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  32. A: Amon Tobin because he is truly a mad scientist.

  33. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  34. A: Do the boring things as soon as possible, a tidy session will save you a ton of time down the line.

  35. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  36. A: I mainly work with electronic music, hip hop and reggae/dub.

  37. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  38. A: I am very meticulous and I have a very wide array of musical references.

  39. Q: What's your typical work process?

  40. A: I listen carefully to the original material and to the references the client provided. Once the first mixing stage done on my main monitors is complete I switch monitoring system and listening environment to double check everything going back to make changes if needed. After this I like to let the mix rest for at least 1/2 day before the final mix revision and the mastering.

  41. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  42. A: I work in a treated room and on top of the treatment I use Ik Multimedia's Automatic Room Correction. I have 3 monitoring systems and 2 pairs of quality headphones.

  43. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  44. A: As a mixing enginner I really love everything Joe Barresi does. Leaning more on the production side everything Ivy Lab touch turn to gold.
