I am Jonisa and I am here to help you write your next big song! I can write in a lot of different genres including Pop, Indie Pop, R&B-soul, Alternative Rock, Pop rock, etc. I can also do top lines for EDM, electronic songs. I have written and been featured in multi platinum selling tracks signed by Warner Music, Scorpio Music, etc.
Not two songs I write sound alike and that means I can create unique personalised songs for you. I am willing to start writing songs from scratch as well as to listen to your preferences about how you would want the song to sound like.

Interview with Jonisa L.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on my own first album right now titled "Ego" which is a collection of nine songs, written and composed by me.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will treat your project with the same enthusiasm and hard work as I would treat my own project! I will make sure you fall in love with it!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been writing songs since I can remember even though I didn't quite know what it was called back then. However, I have been writing songs professionally for more than 5 years now.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Very different and unique. I am a very creative individual and I get inspired by everything and anything.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with Labrinth. He is an amazing artist and producer and his way of thinking is very out of the box and unique. Other artists I'd love to work with are Frank Ocean, Halsey, Jesse Rutherford, Matty Healy, etc.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on a lot of different genres. Pop, Indie, EDM, Pop-Rock, R&B, etc. I have written a lot of different songs throughout the years, and almost all of them were different from each other. I always find a way however, to make every kind of genre, sound more "commercial" and ear-candy.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually use my guitar or piano to set the foundation of the song. The foundation can be a chord progression or a melody (or a motive). I then start creating toplines over that. Usually the lyrics come together with the melody, but when they don't, I usually brainstorm after I have already decided on the toplines and then I fill in the missing pieces. However, each process is unique from one another, therefor the outcome is also unique. I like to experiment and explore each day new ways of creating songs and I can get inspired by anything.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I write most of the songs in my room. I have set up a studio in there- MacBook Pro (the DAW I use is Logic Pro X), Speakers, Midi keyboard, Shure SM7B. I also have an electro-acoustic guitar, an electric one and an upright piano where most of the creative process takes place.
