I'm a mixer who understands an artist's artistic direction well and knows how to get the best out of songs. Je suis un ingénieur de mixage qui comprend bien la direction artistique d'un artiste et sait faire ressortir le meilleur des chansons.
Hello, I have over 20 years of mixing experience. I have mainly worked with rock, pop and country artists. Major Canadian artists such as Richard Séguin, Laurence Jalbert, Matt Lang and Paul Daraîche have retained my services.

Endorse Hugo PerreaultFor your music project, all you need is someone like Hugo who can understand your vision and make it better in multiple ways, from the tone to the music coherence and from the smooth vibe to the little attention in every part of the process. It’s been ten years, 3 albums and many projects with Hugo and when I look at the other reviews, I’m not the only one who continues to work with him. He has a high retaining rate.
A well-balanced equilibrium between confidence and listening is not growing on trees. When you find it, keep it.
I know à guy :)Hugo est un humain magnifique qui pourrait faire sonner un morceau de plywood comme une mine d’or. Il est aimable, courtois et très rigoureux.
Hugo is one of the best producer i worked with! Easy to work with to! He knows is stuff, he knows is room and he’s always open to try some new ideas!

Hugo Perreault fait partie de la courte liste des grands réalisateurs/mixeurs du Québec.
I can simply tell you that Hugo Perreault is part of the short list of great Quebec producers/mixing engineers.
With eight albums mixed and produced by Hugo, we can now say that he is an integral part of our musical project. He always finds a way to surprise us with his ideas and his creative spirit. And he's certainly one of the nicest people I've ever met in the music industry.
In 2023, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Hugo for the first time on the Grande Ourse collective's album, which featured various artists. Hugo displayed a high level of professionalism and a clear vision, while being attentive to the needs of each artist. His simple, clear, and effective approach greatly contributed to the project's success. We recommend him without hesitation, as his talent and dedication are exceptional.
I made 3 albums with Hugo at his studio and as a singer songwriter, I worked with many mix egineers. Hugo is by far the Best.
He has an incredible sensitivity and knows how to work the dynamics of a song. CheersHugo is one of the best mixer/producer/engineer that I know. His great technical experience and artistic talent give projects clear focus and direction, his ability to communicate his ideas and needs for the track and at the same time allowing artistic space for the musician to express artistically made working very satisfying and productive!
Hugo's the best partner you could wish for. I've been working with him for the past 5 years. Collaborated on 4 ablums/EP together through the years and looking forward for a new one this winter. A really talented guy who understands your artistic direction and who'll always help you get the best out of you and your song. He's calm and lowkey but the funniest when you get to know him. He's open to new ideas and will never push for his but when you ask him, damn he knows what the song's needing! He knows his room and his tons of gear and uses it wisely. Awesome producer. Thanks Hugo!
