Award-winning saxophone and clarinet player. Professor of Saxophone at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. Played on film/video game scores including Deadpool and Wolverine, Call of Duty (MW3), A Haunting in Venice, Lady Chatterley's Lover. I play all saxophones (sopranino/soprano/alto/tenor/baritone) and clarinets (Eb/Bb/A/Bass)

A Professor of Saxophone at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and holding masters degrees in both Saxophone Performance (RNCM) and Information and Computer Engineering (University of Cambridge) Alastair is uniquely placed to provide top class playing captured in high quality.

As a solo artist Alastair's four studio albums have been described by critics as "surpassingly beautiful", "groundbreaking", "an extended dazzling display of talent" and "completely gorgeous". As well as his solo recordings Alastair can be heard on film and video game scores including Deadpool and Wolverine, Call of Duty (MW3), A Haunting in Venice and Lady Chatterley's Lover and adding saxophones and clarinets to albums for various artists spanning diverse genres.

Recording on both saxophone and clarinet Alastair is equally at home in classical, jazz and pop settings. Outside of the studio Alastair has played with the Philharmonia, London Contemporary Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra and Royal Ballet Sinfonia as well as at Montreux and London Jazz Festivals.

Alastair is a City Music Foundation, BBC Introducing, Park Lane Group and Live Music Now Artist. Alastair is endorsed by Henri Selmer Paris (saxophone), Buffet Crampon (clarinet), Vandoren UK (saxophone and clarinet) and Key Leaves.
