MNRF is a compact and mighty Recording Studio, Writing and Tracking Room in amazing Silverlake LA helmed by experienced composer/producer Matthew McKenna. The single room space boasts 24 channels of high quality input chain, Vintage Neve and API and Boutique Mic Pres, outboard compression including Vintage Urei, Tubetech, Dramastic Audio and Purple, Mercury and Avedis eq, vintage Neumann and boutique Bock Audio/soundelux mics, an incredible palate of curated instruments, and a great set of ears.
In an awesome private and secluded non residential location, walking distance from great coffee shops, restaurants, bars and hiking trails, and features natural light via skylights. We are adjacent to the offices of publishing powerhouse Pulse Music.
Matt came up playing in bands in LA, Boston, and Texas, and found his way into Film ant TV music in the early Y2Ks working under and writing for a number of well known composers. Matts work has been showcased at Slamdance film festival, in the LA times, in Adweek and has numerous Album Credits.
