Totally in love with creating catchy music!
Hey! I'm a music producer and songwriter, specialising in pop, rnb and hip hop music. I am very passionate about bringing catchy, high-quality, industry standard, commercial music to music artists and video creators. As a perfectionist, I only make and release songs that sound of a high standard!
As a music producer (also known as ‘Katriona Music’), my experience started in 2010 working at two music studios where I ran and managed the recording studios, which included working as a recording/mixing engineer and music producer. This included a lot of audio editing, as well as production, composing and songwriting. I then branched out as a freelance music producer and songwriter, mostly working as a ghost music producer.
I have received credit as music producer, composer and songwriter on a number of singles (both released and unreleased - such as pitching demos) with a commercial sound, working with independent music artists in the UK, USA and Australia. I have also produced music for a fashion web series.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 10 years, mostly working behind the scenes as a ghost producer. Only released a few tracks.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Katy Perry - the vocal melody in many of her tracks are so catchy, I love it!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Simplicity is best.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, Hip Hop and RnB.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Identifying what sounds catchy and commercial.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I focus on making sure the song sounds catchy, as I know that's the best way for it to gain attention.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I don't have anything flashy. I just produce on my keyboard, using Logic Pro X predominantly. I also use Ableton Live if the project requires it. Depending on the project, I either mix music with my set up or I hire a music studio setup.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am very inspired by Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Stargate and Darkchild.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly produce instrumental tracks for artists, and I often co-write with artists too. I predominantly work with pop artists, plus rnb and hip hop too.

I approach every project on a case by case basis. For all projects, my turnaround time is fast so if you're on a time crunch, that's totally fine! I allow up to 2 free revisions, $20 for each extra.
