  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I'm proud of my 'Covid project' where I established my record label Isolabella Recordings, released lots of high-profile artist's music, had releases at the top of the charts, and support from the best producers and DJs in the industry.   3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Lots of producing/mixing jobs for clients and my personal techno and pop music projects.

  8. A: Both, get the best of both worlds!

  10. A: That you'll be 100% satisfied with the outcome of the project we've worked on together!

  12. A: I get to make music all day everyday!

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: How many revisions can I have? The answer is 'Unlimited'.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That it's easy.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What are your goals for this project? What is your budget/timeframe? Do you have any reference tracks for me to check out?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Ask questions!

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Desert islands usually don't have a power supply, but ignoring that I'd take my Macbook Pro, UAD Apollo X6 audio interface, Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro headphones, DSI Prophet REV2 synthesiser, and my Ableton Push controller.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I first started producing in 2012, mostly part-time, but I have been doing it full time since 2018.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: This is a tricky one, I try hard not to have a 'sound' as I work across multiple genres. So I guess my style adapts to whatever project I'm working on.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Disclosure, they're so talented and both seem like legends.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Use reference tracks, they can help you make more confident decisions.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Anything really, from pop, house, rock, techno, etc.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Probably my desire to always learn more about producing/mixing/mastering, I'm obsessed.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: A perfectionist-like work ethic, refusing to stop until the song sounds amazing and has surpassed the client's expectation.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: It depends on the type of job, but the first step is always to determine exactly what my client is after so we're on the same page in terms of what the end goal is.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I have a recording studio in Melbourne, my gear includes: UAD Apollo x6 interface, UAD plugins, Allen & Heath Qu-24 mixing desk, DSI Prophet REV2 synthesiser, Rode K2 mic, Moog Sub 37 synthesiser, Novation Peak synthesiser, Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro headphones, Yamaha S8 speakers and subwoofer, Roland SE-02 synthesiser, Ableton Push controller, Novation Launchkey keyboard, Native Instruments Maschine controller, Sennheiser HD650 headphones, AKG712 headphones, and much more!

  42. A: Serban Ghenea, Ian Kirkpatrick, Josh Gudwin, Calvin Harris, Stephan Bodzin, Disclosure, Zedd, and many more!
