I have over 10 years of experience as a producer and engineer, working in various genres and acquiring extensive knowledge and skills in professional recording studio environments.
My clients have been featured on radio stations such as triple j, playlists such as Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Portal, have reached number 1 on Beatport’s Top 100 charts multiple times, and have gathered millions of streams.
Under the name Barbour, I have released many house and techno songs on international record labels and have received support from top DJs such as Solomun, Sasha, and Joris Voorn.
I founded the record label Isolabella Recordings in 2018, which has released music from 21 artists, and has been heavily supported by DJs, playlists, and blogs. I handle A&R, design, distribution, marketing, and have produced/mixed approximately half of the songs that have been released.
In 2023, I am pumped to unveil my most exciting project yet: A new artist project under my full name Eddy Barbour, where I will be releasing a range of music across pop and dance/club genres that I have created in collaboration with talented singers and producers. I believe this music accurately showcases my current songwriting, producing, and mixing abilities. I will also be launching a new record label and publishing/distribution company in conjunction with this project.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I recently mixed 5 songs in 5 days for the talented Australian producer RONA. so that she could pump them live in her opening gig for RÜFÜS DU SOL the following weekend!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm currently juggling a bunch of producing and mixing jobs for some of my clients. I'm also working on a tonne of songs for a new artist project that I'll be launching in 2023 under my full name 'Eddy Barbour'.

A: It's tough to choose just a few, but Ziv Shalev shreds on the guitar and Larry Walters is a wizard on the keys!

A: People often think that all we do is push a few buttons and magic happens, which would be handy.

A: Feel free to ask as many questions as you would like.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I began producing in 2012 and, over the next few years, concentrated on expanding my knowledge and enhancing my abilities. I have been working in music full-time since 2018.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: This is a tough one, as I make a conscious effort to not have a distinct sound or style in order to be able to work across multiple genres smoothly. My approach always adapts to the project at hand.

A: Disclosure. Guy and Howard are both incredibly talented and seem like they'd be awesome to work with!

A: Learn from the people who inspire your heroes.

A: My work ethic is driven by a desire for perfection. I won't stop working on a song until it meets my standards and I would be confident in releasing it to the world with my name on it.
