I have spent more time trying to get that analog feel than anything else, I believe folk music singer/songwriter and even the blues necessitates this. I have spent thousands of hours behind a DAW honing my craft, tirelessly. My most impressive accomplishment though would be my son, Capriccio.
Hello, Bradley here. I have a home studio like a lot of people these days. I am 36 years old and have been playing guitar since I was 13, and through the years have learned piano, banjo, mandolin, harmonica, and a little violin as well as very basic drums. At the age of 26 I discovered recording engineering, since than I have learned from master classes, YouTube (of course), friends that went to school for it and even did some college as well.
I have noticed something in perusing this website, most people are doing rap or hip-hop, metal and pop. But I see something missing, what about that old timey warm feeling you get from the old folk music tracks? It's not overly loud and in your face, it's inviting and lively at the same time. It's warm but crisp and it accentuates the emotion that is often weighty within the lyrics of folk music, and it's dynamic!
Same goes for blues, let me give you that good old blues feeling with my mixing.
So, I have decided to specialize in getting that nice fat warm crisp sound that most singer/songwriters or folk musicians desire. If you are one of those people, I would love to mix your track!
I have decided to start making "cinematic scores" as well. So if you have a video, movie or content you want specialized music for, let me know!
Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.
