Jared Henderson is a drummer/producer/engineer based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He has been touring and recording professionally for the past 15 years.
I love recording live drums, programming drums, mixing, editing, and time correction. In past 15 years I've played on numerous records both live and studio.
If you'd like to work together, we'll talk about the vibe and sound you want, then you'll send your files.
All I need is a stereo rough mix of your song without drums bounced from 00:00 and the bpm of your song.*Preferably with your tracks already time corrected.
After I'm done with version 1, I'll email you an Mp3 of your song with my drums. We'll then talk about any changes you may want, if any. Once we land on the final take, I'll send you all the individual stems! I'm happy to work out a deal if you want to do live drums and programming on a song instead of just one or the other,
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Jared was great ! He knew how to follow the groove of the song and give it what it needed !
He was also super fast and understanding of what we wanted.
Definitely recommend working with this guy ! I worked with Jared on a CCM single. He did such an awesome job that I asked him to do my EP too! As I'm tracking the rest of my EP, I'm constantly impressed by how the drums sound and feel. Jared did a fantastic job and was a joy to work with!
Interview with Jared Henderson
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing professionally for about 15 years. Grew up playing in church and eventually started touring and recording with "The Desperation Band'. This eventually took me into studio world, session drumming, and playing with numerous other artists.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, pop rock, singer songwriter.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Grooves that feel great and fit the song.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I believe that I bring energy, musicality, consistency, great tones, and most importantly GROOVE.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I turn on the song and sit at the drums and see where my instincts take me. I'll listen back and refine the parts, dial in tones, and fine tune the direction. Then I'll land on the parts and record it and make it sure it feels great. Next we can do revisions and get the song how you envisioned it!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: All mics run through an amazing old Logex 8 console (similar to an API), punchy with great EQ. I have 3 drum sets to choose from and 10 snares, as well as hard drives full of samples if we do any programming:) I track into Pro Tools 12.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by guys like Aaron Sterling, Paul Mabury, and Nir Z. Creative and musical drummers.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'm primarily a session drummer, programmer, and protools engineer.
